I assume you’re doing all of this in order to trigger the free guide delivery.If I were you, I’d make the form submission a custom event, then trigger the Flow based on that event.https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/create_eventAs you can see, you pass the email address in with the event data so it doesn’t matter whether profile exists or not.At the same time, you can still subscribe them to a list with consent if they’ve opted in through your form:https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/subscribe_profilesAgain, that endpoint works whether the contact already exists or not.

Looping mail service flow

First, store the date they purchased the product in a custom profile property. This can be done automatically by creating a flow triggered by that purchase, and then setting the contact property with that date.Then create a date-based flow that is triggered around that date-property. You can set the flow to trigger X-days, weeks, or months before the date, and then choose how frequently how to repeat it.All of this straight out of the box in Klaviyo. The only thing you need to ensure is that you’re storing the date as a profile property.

Flow for when customer request to update their payment method

You’ll have to hook into that event in Shopify and then send a webhook into Klaviyo. Presumably that should trigger an event which then triggers your flow. It would be a custom coded project. Nothing out of the box.

How to not sync Typeform answers into profiles

I haven’t used the native Typeform integration to know if there’s a way to prevent all fields from syncing, but the documentation makes it seem like it’s only synced as event properties, and not profile properties. If that’s not the case, your original request should be doable using TypeForms webhook capabilities and the Klaviyo Subscribe Endpoint.

Yes, you are correct in your understanding of tags vs. custom properties. But what is not available out of the box? Whether you call a property a tag or a tag a property, either way, it’s available out of the box.

Sync Hubspot with Klaviyo

Hi Teddy,This is something I’ve explored in the past very briefly for one of my clients. For their purposes, a one-way sync was good enough, and I believe I found a method to do so via APIs.Of course, bidirectional would be more complex, but depending on the exact data you want synced, it might be easier or harder. Can you give us more details?

Getting names from Unbounce forms into Klaviyo lists

Hello,I could be that person you’re looking for. I have over 10 years of experience developing on many multiple web platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Hubspot, and many other SaaS platforms), and 3 years of developing on Klaviyo, along with being a Klaviyo Silver Partner. (I’ve even won their monthly developer challenge.)As for Unbounce, I know what it is, but I’ve not worked with it directly. I’m sure it’s fairly straightforward to figure out given the depth of my experience. That said, it very well could be a technical problem with either platform. Error status code 400 on flow webhook

The Revision date is the date of the API, not the actual date you’re implementing webhooks. So, it would be: 2023-12-15

That’s a good question. I’ve never worried about it much because most of the contacts I add through the API are also delivered an automated email in one way or another. And as soon as they click on a link and visit the website, the tracking is automatically activated, assuming you have tracking installed.Here’s their help doc that explains all the different types of tracking and how you can cookie your contacts:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005076767

Cold email flows and opt-in permission

Because if you were inquiring about using their services, you wouldn’t need a marketing platform for that. You would use direct email.

Klaviyo, and almost all email marketing platforms, is permission based. Scraped emails have not given permission. They also didn’t opt-in so it goes against GDPR, CCPA, and all the other privacy laws. Cold email is SPAM so I don’t think that’s going to fall under their acceptable use policy….or the law.

Track Profile Activity

Ironically enough, I’m trying to troubleshoot an issue with the Subscribe endpoint right now too. The Developer Tools section is fantastic. I’m not sure when you announced it, but I must have missed it.I’m in there right now, and I made a successful ‘202’ call but the profile was not actually subscribed to the list. They have a new event endpoint with all the required datapoints on the api overview page. Just make sure the most recent api version is selected in the upper-left corner.  it looks like that’s the one you’ve already tried so if it’s not working, try ping it from a service like Postman. If that works, you know there’s a problem with the server or app running your code. If it still doesn’t work with postman, you probably have a mistake in your json somewhere.

What exactly do you need to do? They’ve split the Track endpoint into multiple endpoints now so it really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.
