Sign up form gets lost in the footer on my shopify site

Sign up form not pushing across to newsletter

Hi everyone, I have a question about my sign up form. I have created a flyout sign up form that is getting subscribers everyday according to the analytics however I can’t see these extra subscribers on my newsletter list or any other list.Can someone advise on how to make sure these subscribes are moving across to my email list.

Is it possible to have two pop-ups working simultaneously? Showing the second ONLY if the customer does not complete first.

Hi! I am trying to set up a pop-up to show on exiting the page with an offer if the customer doesn’t complete the first pop-up on the landing page. It seems though that Klaviyo doesn’t sync in time for the logic to work. I have both pop-ups set to not show to existing Klaviyo profiles. But on testing, after the completing the first pop-up, the second still shows. Is there a way around this? Thanks!

Blank / empty fields in success message using Legacy Popup triggered by button

I’m successfully using the code from https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005077007-How-to-Trigger-a-Legacy-Popup-When-a-Button-is-Clicked but after clicking the button the success message that appears onscreen has the email and names labels but not the user entered info.Is there a way to remove the labels or get the user info to display?Thanks, Rus

Embedded form not rendering with Impulse Theme

Hi,I am trying to add an embedded form into our footer. We are using shopify with the impulse theme. I posted the code into the footer liquid as described in the tutorial, but it wont show up. I then tried to post it somewhere else, still a no show :-/ I also made sure to delate the code wherever I posted it. If I edit the theme however the sign up form shows up 3 times, but is still nowhere to be seen on the live page… How is that even possible? What do I do wrong? I am no coder and have no clue what I’m doing….Please help!Thank you in advance!Cheers Elli

Slide up form seems to always show when coming from social media

We have our signup form to not show to existing Klaviyo profiles and to not show for another 30 days when x’d out. Which always seems to work in the browser. When launching our site from Instagram in a child browser I am noticing it seems to show always. Is there a fix for this?

Proving consent without GDPR enabled SignUps

Hello AlltogetherIt would be very nice if you would share your opinions or workflow concerning the double opt in.We collect new subscribers via a Klaviyo Signup (GDPR Conformity not enabled on that Popup in order to get a cleaner look. But we have a seperate Popup for cookies and tracking consent.) We have a double Optin where the profiles are added into a marketing list only once they confirm, that they want to receive marketing emails. When those profiles unsubscribe, they get suppressed as expected.My concern is now, what if someone claims to not have confirmed to receive marketing emails? I have no consent details like time of consent, IP adress and so on like I had in mailchimp before.How do you handle such cases? How can i proof consent without to enable GDPR conformity?Best regards, Frank

Variable for Current User's URL

Is there an Event Variable that pulls the user’s current URL on a website? I’m looking at this page: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002779071#common-examples-of-event-variables6 and I can’t find the answer I’m looking for.I’m looking to pull the current URL so that I can use it in a sign up form to redirect users to my other country’s website with the same URL structure.Thanks in advance!

Hide Flyout Signup Form based on City and/or State (e.g. Miami, FL)

I’m looking for a way to not display a flyout signup form to new visitors in a specific geographic area. We have one main competitor, and I want to make sure he doesn’t see our signup form that runs a promotion. Otherwise, he will just copy our strategy.My first thought is to just exclude the signup form from showing based on visitors from his general area (we are nationwide).Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,I have integrated Klaviyo with my Shopify and Gempages site, and I have a form now successfully showing up on one of my pages.However, when I go to submit the form I get the following error:“An error occured when submitting. Please try again later.”I have gone through the help page and double checked that the button is a “submit” button and that the list it is submitting to exists.​​​​​​​Any help would be much appreciated.

Signing People up to multiple lists on one form

Hi,I run a games shop and I’m looking to set up email lists for the various products and/or events that we run. I want to allow each customer to choose which products they receive information on.My initial thought was to set up multiple lists, one for each product or product group that we operate however I don’t seem to be able to develop a sign up form that allows customers to choose to be on multiple lists.Is there a way of doing the above or is there another way to achieve the effect I need?Any help or advice would be appreciated.CheersGlen

Typeform not triggering double opt-in process

Hey - follow up question to We’re probably going to add  links that update profile properties on the “opt-in confirmed” page.I just tested it by going through the Typeform quiz and then entering my email, but this didn’t trigger the double opt-in email or anything.Is there a setting in Typeform or Klaviyo we need to update to get it to work? Or is it just the Quiz not being set to “active” yet?Or for it to work, do we need to embed the “Subscribe” step of the double opt-in process (see screenshot below) into one of the Typeform questions?Hope that makes sense - your help is much appreciated.

Border radius does not apply in form editor

Hi!I am creating a subscription form and inside the editor under the “styles” tab,  I choose 10px as the border radius. But that change does not show on the right side (front end).If I apply border radius to the button, it shows on the other hand. Thanks for any inputsFlo

Klaviyo sign up page for mobile

Hi All,  I’ve created a sign up form and have embedded the code onto my shopify website. The desktop version of the form appears fine however the mobile version needs to be reformatted. I suspect that I will need 2 version of the sign up form (1) for desktop (2) for mobile. How do you add the code to your shopify password liquid content so the right version will show for desktop and mobile?  Thanks.

Klaviyo tracking overwrites custom properties

I have a field on my signup form that sets the profile’s “Status” property to a certain value, eg “Start”. As the user progresses through our flow we update this field to keep track of where they are in our funnel.However, I’m finding that if the user navigates to the site, the klaviyo javascript snippet executes a `track` call which replaces the value of this property with the original value that is included with the signup form (ie, “Start”) - as a result we lose the status of that user.How do we prevent this field being overwritten?

How to find the element id in an embedded form?

I have made signup form through klaviyo editor , any my form is  working fine . I want to set value in signup form through javascript, but when i inspect element  on input fields, i am unable to find  unique id, class or property for these input fields .  Is there any way in klaviyo to assign each input field a unique identifier ? Thanks.

Collect SMS consent with legacy form

I’m trying to collect SMS consent on a legacy form submitting to https://manage.kmail-lists.com/ajax/subscriptions/subscribe From the API documentation, I’ve tried to collect the consent with the following data objects: $consent: ["sms"],phone_number: customers_number"sms_consent": true, In the API documentation I see that it specifies "sms_consent": True with a capitalised True. But if I use that in this context the script is expecting a variable so I’ve used a lowercase true But this doesn’t seem to work with the subscription ajax. How do I remove the default theme pop up and keep the Klaviyo pop up sign up form?

I made a sign up form through Klaviyo and attached the code to my site. The problem is the theme’s default pop up still keeps showing along with the Klaviyo form and everytime I try to remove the default one, the Klaviyo form disappears as well.

Typeform Quiz Result -> Email Double Opt-In for Results Page - How to do it?

Hi, we’re currently building a quiz funnel with Typeform with 5 different results.The result will be delivered once they signed up to our email list via double opt-in. And since there are 5 different results, they’re divided into 5 unique segments with individual emails.Questions:Is there a way to either use the “Email Confirmation” or “Opt-In Confirmed” step of the double opt-in process where we can display 5 different buttons, one for each possible result, that the reader then click on to confirm their subscription AND update their profile properties with their specific result so we can segment them?So the funnel would be:Quiz → Please enter your email to get your results → Confirm your subscription with 5 different buttons, if possible → thank you for your subscription - please click on your specific result type to get your result (if this doesn’t work with the email confirmation).I’d use individual links to tag subscribers as outlined here to update their profile https://help.klavi

I have set up my SMS popup form and it is running. This isnt working though as no profiles are coming through or onto the lists. I have tried signing up myself and it still doesn’t come through.  Why isn’t it working?

Problem with Signup Form on Shopify

Hi all,I’ve changed my Shopify theme this morning and everything has gone fine (I think!) apart from the Klaviyo Sign Up form for our Newsletter.It has an image which does not show up - its just blank.Its supposed to look like this;I’ve temporarily fixed the problem by running an A/B Test with the 2nd signup form being purely text-based and being 100% weighted. But its not exactly beautiful so I’d like to get the image problem resolved. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hello just started to use kalivo. i have created a sign up form. but as its going to be used as a semi booking in form i want to send them a different email sequence. to my normal list.. is it possible if so how? i also would like to send them an reminder email based on the date they selected. but like “looking forward to see you later today” is that possible?
