Add fields to Shopify Sign-up form

Hi!I have Klaviyo connected with Shopify (with the App).My sign-up form (in a pop-up) shows only “First Name”, “Last Name” and “Email” fields and populate a specific list in Klaviyo.I want to add 2 fields : month and day for birthdays. I cannot find how to add these field (on Klaviyo side or on Shopify side) since I cannot edit this sign-up form.Thanks in advance for your help!Ren

Create Popup Form to Collect Data without an Email Field

I am trying to create a 1 question survey for visitors coming to our site. We currently have a subscription popup that activates 7-8 seconds when someone is on the site. We are getting some people to subscribe and we are able to ask them the survey question “Are you currently bald”.However, we want to have a popup that fires as soon as someone comes to the site that just asks the question. We are not looking to collect email addresses. We just want to know the percentage of individuals coming to the site that are bald. This will help with advertising later on. I was able to successfully create the popup WITHOUT an email address field, but the data doesn’t seem to be sent to Klaviyo without having the required email. Is there a way to do a custom report to see this information? We are not wanting to use a third party integration due to security processes and approved apps. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Signup form not working all the time

Hi there,I have several signup forms on my website, and now 3 people have said it doesn’t work. I can’t reproduce the error in incognito or on any device. But one user sent me these screenshots:Anyone know where this is coming from? Is it an ad blocker? As I see, drift is also blocked.

Formatting Sign Up Forms for Desktop or Mobile

I have 2 forms 1 for desktop which appears correctly.1 for mobile which is not appearing correctly. None of the styling of the text is correct. How can we design a form for mobile specifically? It just appears as a Narrow or squished desktop version of the form.

Newsletter subscription opt-in rate

I checked what percentage of people who opt-in for my newsletter actually confirmed received our newsletter. By creating a segment with the following definition:Properties about someone:$consent_form_id is in [my pop-up].I found out that only 36,23% of the people who dropped their e-mail address in my pop-up gave consent by confirming there sign up. I was wondering what the benchmark percentage is and if people have tried to increase this percentage? I have the feeling that my percentage is really low and curious how to improve this.

Pop-up text block not appearing on website

We have created two pop-ups to be appear on same page with different conditions that I have achieved using URL containing option and working fine. One pop-up is in English and the other is in Spanish, both pop-ups are appearing absolutely fine but there is an issue that the text block is not appearing for the second pop-up (i.e. Spanish). The form fields are appearing fine but not the header and footer text blocks, I can not think of any reason which can cause this.I have tried changing the text, etc. but nothing seems to work. Image, fields and other blocks are working fine but not the text and this happening for the second block only.

How reliable is location targeting in signup forms

Hi there,I have two embed forms on a page; and I want to show one or the other based on whether the user is in the EU or not (one of the forms have GDPR fields on it).I’m using “don’t show to visitors in certain locations (EU)”, and “show to visitors in certain locations (EU)” respectively, so it should be all set – in theory. But how reliable is this really? What if the location of the person cannot be detected during their visit. Do they see both forms? Or neither form, which would be slightly better, but still not ideal.I have the same question for popup forms as well. Same scenario with two forms.Thanks, -oo

Making sure people are opting-in with my discount signup form

Hi everyone,I am very new to Klaviyo and am wanting to create a pop up with a first time subscriber discount.I’ve gone through the steps in sign up forms and set it all up.When I test it it sends the discount code to the email address that signs up straight away and then it sends a click to confirm subscription email second.So does that mean that the person can use the code that came in the first email but then not confirm their email address as requested in the second email so then not be subscribed?Thanks for your help!

Signing People up to multiple lists on one form

Hi,I run a games shop and I’m looking to set up email lists for the various products and/or events that we run. I want to allow each customer to choose which products they receive information on.My initial thought was to set up multiple lists, one for each product or product group that we operate however I don’t seem to be able to develop a sign up form that allows customers to choose to be on multiple lists.Is there a way of doing the above or is there another way to achieve the effect I need?Any help or advice would be appreciated.CheersGlen

Why is my Embedded Form Loading Slowly?

Is there a function to prevent customers from abusing the sign up forms?

Hi!Sorry if this has been asked before but I did a quick search and did not find a similar thread. We are thinking of incentivizing customers (e.g. 20% off first orders) when it comes to new sign ups. I was just wondering if Klaviyo has a feature/smart system in place to prevent customers from abusing the system? One example would be creating new accounts to make use of the promotion. We are on shopify if this helps!I was just curious since this is a similar problem that most ecommerces face these days. Looking forward to your inputs! Woocommerce 'unable to detect sign up forms installed' message, but I'm using plugin.

Having a few issues setting up Klaviyo, which is very frustrating. I have already installed and linked the wordpress plugin. My sales data has all transferred, except for one issue (Started Checkout doesn’t track) that I’ve contacted support about. I’ve built my first sign up form. When I hit publish, I receive the following error: Unable to detect that signup forms are successfully installed on your site. Please view the installation documentation. I click on the link but it tells me that if I’m using Woocommerce and have integrated using the plugin, I don’t need to add the code snippet. Everything is set up correctly, so not sure why this is happening. I’ve hit publish, it says it’s live. I’ve added the form embed code to my website but it doesn’t appear. What’s the fix?

Embed Form Doesnt Work on Brave Browser?

Hi! I am seeing users report that the embed forms do not load on Brave Browser with ‘shields up’ which is the default loading state for Brave. Is anyone else seeing this and is there a fix?

Does Klaviyo support multi-step signup forms?

I have an app where I want to collect an email address in one embedded Klaviyo form in a popup window and immediately load a 2nd Klaviyo form to collect an optional phone number and update the contact record created from the 1st form (possibly by using a hidden field to store the email ID).  Is this functionality possible with Klaviyo using custom javascript event listeners?

Shopify and Klaviyo double opt-in

Hello,If someone subscribes to shopify newsletter I got a doube double opt-in. One from Shopify and one from Klaviyo.When I am disable Shopify double opt-in then It shows me on the costumer as marked that he/she subscribed to the newsletter.When I disable Klaviyo double opt-in then I have two lists with Klaviyo Newsletter and Shopify Newsletter. But I want one flow for both Newsletter. If someone subscribeds to Shopify-Newsletter and Klaviyo-Newsletter then he or she has “longer” discount.Because if someone subscribes to the Newsletter, I give him/her free shipping.

Slide out sign up stopped showing

Hi, Our sign up stopped displaying with a loading delay checked. We have been using a 60% scroll delay for ages, not sure why it stopped working. It will only display with “show immediately on page load” We use the woocomerce klaviyo plugin. Any ideas why it broke? We have not changed any sign up settings, but have tested it and it only works with show immediately and not with any load delay

Where to add a snippet for a popup on my Shopify site

HI , I need an easy reply to my issue as i’m not very computer savvy . I tried to add a snippet for a Kaviyo pop up into theme.liquid in my shopify account where the video suggested to add it but it didnt work - just above </body >  and </html. which was on line 143 but i have a few more additions of lines for Afterpay which goes all the way to maybe line 182 . should i be scrolling all the way past the Afterpay stuff and add it in the bottom ??? Thank you

Users delayed before being added to list

Hi, I´m using potential customers campaign with Klaviyo. I'm making the proof answering the form before launch my ad on Facebook, but after I fill out the form, it takes like 1 hour to get to my list in Klaviyo and start with the emails flow. Is it normal?

Is there a way to limit the number of popups to appear?

I have two popups available with a loading delay and they both appear in a single page. I was wondering if there was a way to change the behavior to prevent another popup if one is already shown. Is this possible?

Hi, I wonder if there is a way to setup the Klaviyo signup forms to trigger a Facebook pixel event.The goal would be to optimize Facebook ads for a signup event at our Shopify store. I thought it would be a no-brainer but apparently I can’t figure it out.I tried to use Facebook’s web-interface for custom events, but it won’t recognize the Klaviyo pop up-form. Updating preferences on a list

Hi,I’m trying to change a preference form on a List I’ve created (that goes through a flow), but there are no options for me to add any fields in - I’ve attached a screenshot. Is this a bug? I’ve done it perfectly on the Preference Pages form, but just discovered that that only applies to Segments (which is pretty frustrating in itself).Thanks!

Responsive Input fields & Buttons

I’m struggling with styling my embedded form a bit. I’m looking to achieve a responsive email input field and submit button combination like so: On desktop: On mobile: It seems that out of the box all form templates are static. So if the template has the email input field and button laid out on one row, they’ll stay on one row disregarding the width of the screen (which results in the e-mail address and/or the placeholder text not fitting the input field on smaller screens). Can I achieve the desired effect with the form editor somehow or will this require manual styling?

Why are my double opt-in confirmation emails going to spam?

Double opt-in confirmation emails may go to spam if your account's default From Address is a free mailbox provider, like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @aol.com, etc. To update your account's default from address, navigate to Account > Contact Information > Organization and update your Default From / Reply-To address. You can set up a forwarding address if you don't already have a business email associated with your domain. For example, if your default From Address is a Gmail address, you can set up an alias to have emails forwarded from your public From Address to your personal inbox.
