Klaviyo has a pre built integration with Unbounce to help you use landing pages to add customers to your main newsletter list, trigger a welcome series flow, and more. You can collect subscribers on an Unbounce landing page and then automatically target a series of flow messages before sending them newsletter campaigns. If you wanted to use LeadPages you would need to work with a developer to create a custom solution, which would likely cost more than using a pre built integration, like Unbounce.
