Shopify orders stopped syncing after January 7, 2023, but historical sync shows complete

My Shopify integration shows Enabled, and historical syncing shows Complete, but the latest event in Klaviyo’s Shopify Placed Order feed is dated January 7, 2023. Shopify has current paid orders that aren’t appearing in Klaviyo.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

  • Selected Update Settings → Update Integration. The first attempt timed out.
  • Tried again and received a green confirmation, but recent orders are still missing.
  • Asked Kira for help but couldn’t identify a recovery procedure.

What is the supported next step to restore ongoing syncing and import the missing orders? Are there specific checks I should perform, or does this require an account-level investigation by Klaviyo Support?

Hey @Karaluckett

A feed that stops dead at one specific date, while everything else looks healthy, is usually a webhook problem, not an auth problem. Update Settings only refreshes the OAuth connection, it doesn't force Klaviyo to re-register the webhooks with Shopify. That's why your integration shows Enabled and historical sync shows Complete, but new orders never show up in the Placed Order feed.

Worth trying before anything else: remove the Shopify integration from Klaviyo completely, not just disable it, then add it back as a new integration instead of reusing the old one. That's the step that actually rebuilds the webhook subscriptions on Shopify's side, which a re-auth alone won't do. Klaviyo's troubleshooting guide walks through this: Troubleshooting Your Shopify Integration.

If orders still don't come through after that, you're past what community troubleshooting can fix. Checking whether the webhook is actually registered and firing on Shopify's side, and backfilling what was missed during the gap, needs Klaviyo Support's backend access. I can't see your account from here either, so that's the point to open a ticket instead of digging further blind.

I hope this helps and thank you for sharing your question here in the community.
Cheers.
Arpit.
