Custom "Out of Stock" metric from Shopify

Hey guys,

can anyone help me and perhaps provide me with a step by step instructions on how i can possible create a “out of stock” metric from shopify.

This is what i am trying to achieve;

Automatically send out an email which is triggered by “out of stock” enabled on shopify product but which can still be purchased.

Would you mind explaining your use case a little further? Just to clarify, do you want to create an entirely new custom metric that is separate from our Back in Stock functionality? If so, this would technically be beyond the scope of Community/Support, but there are some guides here to get you started:
