It seems the data sync rate for the Magento 2 integration is every 30 mins. Is there any way we could accelerate this via settings or by forcing the sync more often from our side (calling the APIs, using js scripts...)?

Welcome to the Community! This is a great question.
As you correctly pointed out, the Magento 2 periodic sync does fire about every 30 minutes (reference: How often integrations sync reference)
It seems this was also a topic of conversation in this thread previously:
It looks like there was a feature request submitted, but no update has been provided yet as to when we can expect this functionality to be added.
For now, it appears that we are unable to adjust the sync window.
