Integrating Klaviyo with ReserveBar custom solution

I am hoping to get some help integrating / connecting my client’s Klaviyo account with their ReserveBar custom storefront. ReserveBar has stated that need a webhook endpoint but the only way I can see to get an webhook endpoint is through flows. However, I want the flow’s trigger to be something like an abandon cart from ReserveBar itself.

Does anyone have advice on how I can do this? Or how/what I need to communicate to ReserveBar to get the proper pieces of information to do this integrate?

Hi @a_peden!

My apologies for the delay here. Yes, I would still recommend using the above instructions as a basic framework, but since you’re using a 3rd-party platform that doesn’t have a native Klaviyo integration, there’s only so much insight we can give in the Community/Support.

That said, you’re always welcome to reach out to one of our wonderful Official Partners for more help!

Hi @a_peden!

Klaviyo’s webhooks are unidirectional and only allow you to send information from Klaviyo to another system. However, we do have API endpoints available that may suit this use case.

This article describes how to create an integration with a platform that does not have a native Klaviyo integration, and includes example payloads and suggested API endpoints:

The above guide will outline how to send custom metrics to Klaviyo based on actions that customers take on your website. Starting a checkout is one of these actions, which you can use to trigger an abandoned cart flow.

Best,

Brian

Thank you @Brian Turcotte! I should have mentioned that the storefront is external from my client’s website. I handle the client’s website and Klaviyo account. The external party (ReserveBar) handles the storefront on their own platform so I do not have access to the storefront in any capacity. Would I still use the attached guide above?
