Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor doesn’t allow direct editing of text inside a fully custom-coded HTML email. However, you can make specific text sections editable by using Klaviyo’s template tags or placing editable text inside a Klaviyo-supported block.

One workaround is to insert variables or content blocks where the text needs to change. If you want, I can guide you on how to structure your HTML so only the text is editable inside Klaviyo. Let me know how you would like to proceed!

Have you checked out our article here on how to create a hybrid email template? Doing this allows you to create an HTML template that you can upload to Klaviyo, that allows for editable text blocks/other blocks in the drag-and-drop editor. Essentially, the process involves adding a certain string of code to your HTML where you want the editable text block to be (You’ll only need to do this once, even if you want multiple editable blocks).
