klaviyo overwriting my code after adding data-klaviyo-region="true"

Question

hello klaviyo, want to be able to edit only the text content of a custom html email i coded outside of klaviyo with the drag and drop. i mean only the text should be editable not the whole document which i know is not possible. van any one please help me out on this issue. thank you.

Doing this allows you to create an HTML template that you can upload to Klaviyo, that allows for editable text blocks/other blocks in the drag-and-drop editor. Essentially, the process involves adding a certain string of code to your HTML where you want the editable text block to be (You’ll only need to do this once, even if you want multiple editable blocks).Let me know if you’ve already tried this process, or if it’s not working, and if so, what issues you’re seeing.
