Hi @Soria jewelry,

You mentioned that after signing up via a form, you’re not receiving an email, even though you’re expecting to receive one, correct? If so, do you have a flow that triggers when somebody signs up via a signup form? You’ll want to create a flow with a list as the trigger. Choose the list people enter when signing up to be the trigger to that specific flow. After that, add an email under the trigger and set the flow live. Once you do this, profiles that sign up for your list for the first time should receive an email.

CJamaechi also mentioned your opt-in settings, and I wanted to provide some more context there. If the list your form submits to is double opt-in, it means that new subscribers will receive an email asking them to confirm that they want to subscribe, before they enter your list and receive any flows associated with it. If you’re very new to Klaviyo and haven’t built up a sending history yet, it’s possible that the double opt-in email might land in your spam folder. Have you checked spam for this email?

If you’d rather turn off double opt-in for that list entirely, you can do that too, so subscribers will immediately enter your list. You can do this by going to your list, then Settings > Consent > Opt-in Process and selecting Single opt-in and saving.

Finally, if after taking all of these steps, you’re still not seeing any emails send when testing this, I’d recommend testing using an entirely different email address on a different device. This will ensure that the problem isn’t with our subscription protection thinking your email is a malicious actor/bot email.

If none of these steps work, let me know and we can explore this some more!

Hi,

It sounds like your sign-up form is successfully capturing emails, but a few things to check:

  1. Check your sign-up form settings

  2. What happens with existing profiles

    • If someone who’s already in your list signs up again, Klaviyo won’t resend the welcome or confirmation email because the profile already exists.

    • If you want these subscribers to receive an email anyway, you can create a segment for recent form submissions and trigger a flow based on that segment.

  3. Check spam/junk folder

    • Sometimes new emails end up in spam, especially if your sending domain isn’t fully authenticated.

  4. Test with a different email

    • Try signing up with a different email (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) to see if it’s a domain-specific issue.

If these steps don’t solve it, Klaviyo’s support team can look at your account and troubleshoot delivery issues. You can contact them here: Klaviyo Help Center
