sms-integrations email use

Hi all,

I see that Gorgias uses a sms-integrations+<ID>@klaviyo.com type integration to handle SMS conversations based on Klaviyo SMS responses.

Does anybody know how I might be able to gain access to something like this? Can I create a new App and just install in one Klaviyo account and maybe get approval for that?

Thoughts?

    Hi @jastechnology,

As of now, it’s unfortunately not possible to do this via API or a created app. Apologies for this. If these sms-integrations+<ID>@klaviyo.com emails are being created as profiles in Klaviyo, you can use the Get Profiles endpoint to pull these profiles out of Klaviyo, but I don’t believe it can be set up in the way you described. Talha’s suggestion above might be a good jumping off point, or provide some ideas on how to set up your app, however!

    Hi @jastechnology,

Would you mind explaining what you’re looking to achieve in a bit more detail? I can’t guarantee we’ll be able to come up with a solution here, but I’d love to understand your situation a bit more, and provide any guidance I can!

Yeah. Thanks for reaching out! Gorgias is responding to Klaviyo SMS Conversations within their app. They are doing so by sending an email to a special Klaviyo email address like sms-integrations+<phone number>@klaviyo.com. I’m just curious if there is a process for me to get approval to do this as well for our Klaviyo account through our Klaviyo App and integration.

    That make sense?

Ok thanks. So Gorgias just has some special blessing to do this?
