hey everyone, i’m trying to get advice on the sign up form not working in Klaviyo on a Shopify website (it can’t be closed and the form can’t be filled out/button pressed, unless a user leaves the website and comes back). Has anyone experienced this? otherwise, how do you get support from Klaviyo? I tried to change my plan pricing but can’t figure out what to change just so I can get support?

Hey ​@jellyt182  - This issue sounds like a JavaScript conflict or rendering bug, which can be common when Klaviyo popups clash with certain Shopify themes, third-party apps, or browser extensions. Here are a few things to check:

  1. Popup Display Rules: Make sure the form isn’t accidentally set to show once per session or hidden behind conditions that reset only on a page reload.
  2. Form Version / Embed Method: Are you using a Klaviyo Popup or an Embedded Form? If it’s a popup, try switching to a flyout or embedded version to test behavior.

  3. Browser Console Errors: Open the page in Chrome > right-click > Inspect > Console tab. Look for any red errors tied to Klaviyo or scripts that may be blocking form interactions.

  4. Theme or App Conflicts: Try disabling recently added Shopify apps (especially ones tied to popups, cookies, or overlays) or test the form on a fresh Shopify theme preview to isolate the issue.

  5. Support Access: You don’t need to change your pricing plan just for support, free plans get email support for the first 60 days.
