Webhook: Invalid URL (But works in Postman)

Hey peeps!

I'm working with multiple 8-9 figure brands and I've set up custom events to get triggered from inside some of their flows.

Since ~19:30 GMT+2 February 5th, the webhooks are failing with 'invalid URL’ as a reason for failing.

But when I try and trigger the same exact API call with the same exact properties and inputs through Postman instead of a webhook, the event triggers properly (and it appears on the profile's Klaviyo events too).

I'm wondering if there's an issue in the translation from Klaviyo's webhook to actual API call.

P.S. I also updated the revision to the latest (2026-01-15) and adapted the webhook's body, but it still failed to trigger with the same reason, though, again, it worked in Postman

Hi all.

I can confirm that the error message that you were seeing was unexpected behavior, and our team has worked to fix it. As of now, the incident has been resolved, and webhooks should be able to be created successfully, and fire without errors. Let me know if I can address any additional concerns.

@tsalamazing how are you specifying the webhook inside of Klaviyo?  are you including any variables within the path?

Just the email as {{ person.email }}.

I spoke with support, seems there's an active bug

Helped a gym brand 3.65x their business and 8.32x their email revenue... a sleep care brand get their popup from 2% to 14% and capture SMS... a Forbes-featured jewelry brand get their quiz to 72% lead conversion... a wool slipper brand rank No1 on Google... and a course creator/platform get out of spam, 4x their open rates, and 7x their sales page conversion rate. Ask me about the case studies
