adding people to a list from zapier

Help needed.

i have ran a competition with on external company and now have a list of emails and contacts that registered. i am aware that i cannot automatically add to a list however i can email them once to ask if they want to subscribe and offer them a discount as a reward.

i did automatically create a click funnels optin and created a zap to the list i am wanting to add them too. unfortuanltly i discovered that i cant do this as they currently do. ot have a profile. so my question is how the hell do i do this.

Hi ​@essjay,Based on what you’re describing, it looks like the easiest way to add these profiles to a list in Klaviyo is to download them as a CSV, and upload that CSV into a Klaviyo list. Our guide here explains how to do this. From there, you can send them an email that contains a link to a subscribe page or a page with a sign-up form on it, asking them to subscribe.If these profiles already gave you their marketing consent, you can upload them into Klaviyo with consent (there’s a box you can check to do this), or you can use the Bulk Subscribe Profiles endpoint to subscribe them to your list. They should not need to already exist in Klaviyo for this to work.If you’d rather not subscribe them, you can make two API calls - Create Profile, and then Add Profiles to List, which will add them to Klaviyo first, and then add them to the list.Let me know if the above will work for you.
