Thanks

    Hi Sean,

To add a BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) to your Ionos email accounts, you'll need to follow these general steps:

    1. Prepare Your BIMI SVG File: Please make sure your brand's logo is in the SVG format that meets the BIMI standards.

    2. DNS Configuration: You must add a DNS TXT record to your domain's DNS settings with the appropriate BIMI record. This record should point to the URL where your SVG logo is hosted.

    3. Authenticate Your Emails: Ensure that your emails are properly authenticated using DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and SPF (Sender Policy Framework).

    4. Add the BIMI DNS Record:

      • Log in to your Ionos account.
      • Navigate to the DNS settings for your domain.
      • Add a new TXT record with the following format:

    default._bimi.<yourdomain>  IN TXT "v=BIMI1; l=<URL of your SVG logo>"

    1. Verify BIMI Implementation: Use BIMI verification tools available online to ensure your BIMI implementation is correct.

For more detailed instructions, refer to specific BIMI implementation guides. Here's a useful link to get you started:

Additionally, you can check MXtoolbox How to for more resources:

    https://mxtoolbox.com/dmarc/bimi/how-to-create-bimi-record

Also, check @Taylor Tarpley answer here:

My Opinion: Adding BIMI to your Ionos email accounts can significantly improve your email deliverability and brand visibility. It shows your recipients that your emails are legitimate and come from a verified source, which can increase trust and engagement with your emails.
