I’m creating a campaign name creator for post-campaign reporting purposes, with different product names, colorways, etc. Is there a campaign name character limit I should watch out for?

Great idea and that sounds like a great tool!
Different service providers may display a sender name differently within an inbox. The Sender Name field in an inbox is usually character limited so it’s common that a longer name can be clipped or replaced. Names that contain punctuation marks and/or special characters tend to cause this is as well. If I recall correctly, it was a 255 character limit for names and I believe SMS has its own best practice of 160 characters.
