Hi all,

 

Can someone remind me: if I want subscribers to confirm via double opt-in, and I am using both Shopify and Klaviyo, do I need double opt-in turned on on both platforms? Or just one - and if so, which one?

 

And how do I ensure they receive one confirmation email, not one from Shopify and one from Klaviyo?

 

Subscribers come in via both Shopify checkout and Klaviyo forms.

@B B the answer to your question depends on whether this is purely a Klaviyo form or the Shopify newsletter.  I would recommend double opt-in turned only in Klaviyo to prevent the accidental email also from Shopify.

@B B its possibly 2 different lists in Klaviyo.  You can see what list it adds users with the sign up form’s settings and list for shopify checkout under the Shopify’s integration settings.  Each list could have its own opt in settings.
