You should be able to search the unique code directly in Shopify to view any restrictions/settings preventing it from applying.
Since you created this discount in Klaviyo, you do not need to build it in Shopify as well. Only the Klaviyo settings will impact the code used in the email. Klaviyo will then build the code in Shopify for you.
