Faulty codes for welcome email and discount code not showing

Hi there,

I’m having this issue with my welcome email. Klaviyo has generated random unique discount codes on my shopify store that will be revealed upon a customer subscribing to the email list. However, this is what customers are currently seeing. Appreciate help with this!

Hi there,

You’re missing the {{ from the personalization piece in the beginning. Should look like this:

Hi {{ first_name|default:"there" }},

For the discount code, it’s something like this, where ‘Subscribe’ is the name of the code you created in Klaviyo codes.

Get 15% Off with code: {% coupon_code 'Subscribe' %}

Just to give you an explanation.

For showing the unique discount code, you would need to include the following code into your e-mail:

{% coupon_code 'NAME_OF_YOUR_UNIQUE_COUPON' %}

That code will help you show the unique coupon.
