"Full-width on mobile" is still not working properly in the new email editor

Hi everyone,

 

This is in regards to an older post that was closed a couple of months ago as “solved”. However, we’re still having issues with this full-width on mobile feature. Has it actually been implemented, or was the topic closed prematurely?

      I think found the fix guys… Before you edit anything it’s this in the general template styles tab. 

      Mobile margins is set to 10 by default. Getting rid of this solved my issue immediately. Struggled with this for way too long. Hope it helps.

        This is still an issue for us, even with that mobile margin set to 0.

         

        The only workaround I’ve ever found for this is to never ever use text blocks, and instead use text tables instead which don’t have this bug at all. Rather unintuitive though to expect people to know or think of this!

          After all that I finally found the culprit, there is another setting down the very bottom called ‘override text area padding’ under the mobile and text headings section which is enabled by default — turns out this is where the extra random fixed padding is coming from:

           

           

          Disabling this has fixed the issue!
