Incorrect shopify url products

Hi everyone!

I’m wondering what’s causing my Klaviyo to draw the wrong address from shopify?

The store is chaotic critters, at www.chaoticcritters.com, but when checking the integration, it changes chaotic-critters.myshopify.com to zpzfh9-i0.myshopify.com. I’ve checked the domains, and the previous URL is the primary one.

The product links to the store are all sending people to zpzfh9-i0.myshopify.com, which then redirects, but I’m worried it will hurt the trust if someone sees a link to an unrelated URL.

Is there any way to change this?

@CMichael you are referring to an internal configuration only pertinent to the Shopify integration Klaviyo uses to connect to Shopify, its not something your customers will ever see since product urls and links from Klaviyo events used in flows will always include the brand name URL.

@CMichael you are referring to an internal configuration only pertinent to the Shopify integration Klaviyo uses to connect to Shopify, its not something your customers will ever see since product urls and links from Klaviyo events used in flows will always include the brand name URL.

This is just the email preview, so maybe it’s different live. The links go to the right address, but on hover, the other URL appears

The Klaviyo support team can actually enable a setting that allows you to display your store’s customer-facing URL when hovering over product blocks, rather than the example.myshopify.com URL. Since this isn’t possible to self-serve, I recommend reaching out to our team at Klaviyo.com/support, and we can get this done for you!
