Hello, I have a question on a product feed to be used in emails. I set up a feed for a category of items, and selected “Random” ordering. My question is do the products selected change for every email sent, or is the selection decided and fixed for the whole campaign when it is sent?

Any input from you experts out there us appreciated!

Hi @Vince AVP,

Thank you for sharing this question with the Klaviyo community.

Our product block feature doesn’t randomize its selection of products per individual, bur rather, it will show items based on the previous purchases of your recipients. If the recipients did not purchase any of the items from the feed, then it is expected that the items shown will be the same for each person. For example, if user A has never purchased, the product block displays items 1,2 and 3. If user B has never purchased, the product block displays items 1,2 and 3. If user C has purchased item 1, the product block displays items 2,3 and 4, and so on.

I hope that is helpful!
