Question

Help with fixing form destination

Hello,

My hosted subscribe page displays a success page, but test subscribers are not added to the associated list. The account is on the free plan, the list is set to single opt-in, and the subscribe URL copied from the list matches this URL:
https://manage.kmail-lists.com/subscriptions/subscribe?a=QNnz5Y&g=YnpSM5

How can I tell if addresses being received or blocked? I just really need this issue fixed, as I have hundreds of cards with QR code pointing to my signup page but not collecting data :).

Thanks!

Cicely

Hi Cicely,

Thank you for outlining all of those details to explain the situation here!

I wouldn’t treat the success page as proof that the signup was recorded. Klaviyo support has documented cases where automated signup screening showed the success page but did not create consent, a profile event, or list membership—sometimes after repeated tests or with plus-addressed emails. The page itself may not reveal that it happened.

To check whether a sign-up was submitted/sent through:

  1. In Klaviyo, open Audience → Lists & segments → your list → Members and look for the test address among the newest members.
  2. Search Audience → Profiles for that exact address. Check its email consent status, membership in this list, and whether its activity shows “Subscribed to List.”
  3. For a clean test, submit once with a fresh, non-aliased address that hasn’t previously subscribed or unsubscribed. Avoid rapid repeats from the same browser/IP. On a single opt-in list, a genuine signup should be subscribed and added immediately.

If the clean test has no profile, event, or list membership, there’s no saved signup to inspect in Klaviyo, then the success screen alone can’t tell you whether screening blocked it. If it still fails, contact Klaviyo Support and ask them to check the submission at the exact time for screening or processing issues. Include account ID QNnz5Y, list ID YnpSM5, the submission time and timezone, and whether the test address was an alias or had been used before. Don’t post the test address publicly.

Your single-opt-in setting and matching URL are consistent with an immediate add, so I’d verify with that clean test before relying on the QR cards.
