Hi All,

I have successfully added all required DNS records for my domain cabilion.com and the status shows as 'Verified' in my Klaviyo account. However, the 'Activate' button remains greyed out and I am unable to click it.

I have already tried the following:
- Refreshing the page (including hard refresh)
- Using a different browser
- Using an incognito window
- Clearing my browser cache

Could somebody please help me activate my sending domain?

Domain: cabilion.com

Thank you!

Hi there @WW Trade Solutions , and thanks for reaching out!

Great news — I took a look at your account and can confirm that your domain for cabilion.com is now showing as connected and active, so you should be all set on that front.

That said, I know the greyed-out Activate button can be frustrating, especially when your DNS records are already verified. This is something we've seen come up for a handful of customers, and it's typically caused by one of a few things:

1. Backend sync delay — Sometimes there's a brief lag between when our system verifies your DNS records and when the UI fully enables the Activate button. This usually resolves on its own within a few hours.

2. Browser translation or auto-fill interference — If you're using a browser with auto-translate enabled (e.g., Chrome's built-in translation), the confirmation modal where you type "I understand" can sometimes fail to register your input. Disabling translation, clearing your cache, or trying an incognito window usually helps (though not in this case).

3. Conflicting subdomain — If another Klaviyo account is already using a branded sending domain on the same root domain, you'll see the domain verify but the Activate button won't work. You'd typically see an error about a "maximum of one sending subdomain per domain level" in this case.

4. Residual configuration — If a branded sending domain was previously set up and deleted, sometimes leftover backend config can block reactivation. Our support team can clear this on the backend if needed.

Since your domain is now active, no further action is needed on your end. But if anyone else runs into this, here are a few things to try before reaching out to support:

  • Disable browser auto-translate and try again in incognito
  • Wait 1–2 hours for backend sync to catch up
  • Double-check that no other Klaviyo account uses a subdomain on the same root domain
  • If it persists, contact support so we can check for residual config or escalate to our Deliverability team
