Analytics

Hi Klaviyo peeps,My revenue for a cart abandonment email comes in at $33900 on Klaviyo, but only $1656 on Google Analytics. Any ideas why the discrepancy is so large? And which number is closer to accurate!?  Thank you in Advance!Mathew

Hi there,We’re seeing some very good metrics and figures coming through now on our Klaviyo account from our emails which I am really happy about, however, it seems that the revenue reports are picking up some cancelled orders which are making the figures more inflated than what they actually are. I’ve read another forum entry where someone had the same issue 6 months ago with their Shopify integration, and the answer they got was that it was on the developers radar and was something that the Klaviyo team would be working on fixing. It hasn’t really been a huge issue for me personally as I can easily cross reference the figures with Magento but it would be better if it wasn’t like this. I was just wondering if there is a known fix for this yet?(Screenshots can be seen below 🙂 )

Hi,Is there a way to check, in the flow, the hour (date) of the add to cart event? I would like to make some conditional split based on that. Kind regards,Piotr

I’d like to be able to determine the amount a customer has spent online only off the back of our eDMs. Since we integrated our Shopify into POS, our revenue figures show all sales. Meaning, if someone who’s signed up to our database and buys in store within the the time frame of our email being sent, the revenue from that sale is added to our stats in Klaviyo. Any tips?

TLDRIs it possible for me to install klayvio js on multiple client ecomm sites? If so, can I create a report for each client? ContextWe are about to launch a sponsored content portion of our newsletter. My customers are asking if I can install the Klayvio js on their site so we can track conversions.  Thanks!

Hi all,  I’ve been looking into how to improve deliverability, and one of those ways seems to be to keep links in an email at five or under. This includes links to social media.  In a campaign or flow, I may use a number of links. And then including the social media links will take the email over 5 links.  In some cases, clients have over 5 different social media platforms that they want included. Which takes me well over 5 links just by including the social media alone!  How do you balance it? Best practices that I’ve read seem divided. Some say to always include social media. Others say to always minimize links by removing social media.  I’d like to hear the community's thoughts on the best way to manage this. Thank you!

Hi, I know that Klaviyo provides analytics for the links tracked in my email campaigns (Campaigns » Link Activity). However, I’d like to know if there’s a way to see the heat map of a specific email campaign. I might use the same link across different sections of my newsletter (header, image and CTA for example) and the link activity will only show me the total clicks. What if I want to know where people are clicking the most (header, main image, text, CTA, footer, etc.)? Are there any software/tools available that could help me with this? Thanks!

Hello! I’m starting email for a new business and when putting the welcome flow LIVE I noticed that the emails are going to spam. I don’t think i’s a “bad reputation” issue because it’s a new account. I guess i want to know if this is happening to anyone else and how can i be fixed?

My open rate says 23% (56 recipients) but then below that under the ‘successful deliveries’ heading it says Total opens 213.  How do I know which figure is correct?

Hi everyone,I have a question for the tracking number, How do I get the tracking number on various items? Because we are Dropshipping, We have many suppliers there, For example, If a customer orders 4 products from our store, and also a customer chooses 4 different products in my store, surely it's from a different supplier right? how to get 4 tracking numbers in different suppliers.Summary of my question:1. How to get tracking numbers from different suppliers?2. How to have 4 different tracking numbers put in the email during shipping?3. How to sync tracking number in Klaviyo?Thank you.

We sent a number of email campaigns per week, to a number of lists. Our lists are grouped by how or where the user opted in.I want to see which list is generating the more revenue. Is there any way to group revenue based on the list the user is in?

Have anyone exerpienced this before? The DNS records couldn’t be created as domain sendgrid.net couldn’t be found in UltraDNSMy hosts wont enable the DNS records for our domain for dedicated sending, is there a way around this?

We’ve noticed that many of our emails have been going to junk. We have a pretty good open rate, but we’d love to know if there was a better way to avoid the junk folder, especially for those that want to receive our emails? Is there some back end setting we may be missing?

I’ve noticed that the performance dashboard and custom reports in analytics are not converting sales/revenue to a single currency. So I have sales in USD, EUR, JPY, etc. all being lumped into 1 revenue figure...which does not paint a clear picture whatsoever. I read that such currency conversion is only available in Benchmarks...How is this possible? There must be a way to easily convert different currencies into just 1 for reporting and analytical purposes...Otherwise, how can those figures be useful?

Hey guys, we experienced a strange behavior after implementing Klaviyo in a Shopify store. The Facebook event tracking stopped working as expected. We have seen a drop in tracked page views of up to 70%. This doesn’t seem right. Has anybody else experienced anything similar in their Facebook Ads account after implementing Klaviyo and has an idea how we can solve this? Thanks & BestHendrik

Hey, What is the best practice to decrease soft bounce members?I am not talking about exclude them at the campaignI really have to know how can I make the soft bounce group to be smaller.Maybe some of you solved these problem Thanks,Kseniya

I have inserted in my page a Signup Form for potential clients. But when doing the test and with an email already registered in a list, the Flow does not activate. They gave me the information that a new Flow must be created, but based on the metric in question.Does anyone know more about the subject?Thank you

Im trying to paginate through the results from the  API call https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/metric/******/timeline?api_key=******This call works fine and I take the “next” value at the end of the results above and run it, but it does not continue on in a descending manner.  A majority of the values are repeated even if I continue to use the Next value that is generated?https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/metric/*****/timeline?next=1654608790-*****&api_key=****** The “next” result becomes 1654608813 which is a unix timestamp that is higher then the previous next.  Am I misunderstanding the process?

Does anybody know if sign up forms that are used as a website pop up affect your bounce rate on the page the form shows on?I work for two sister companies, one of which (website #1) shuts down (meaning has no product) for the summer. Our solution is to redirect all website visitors to our other, separate company website (website #2) where they can buy similar products all summer long. We’re concerned about what our bounce rate will look like after a couple months of people clicking the form on website #1 and immediately being redirected to website #2. Help & thanks!

Hello,I know this question has been raised a lot of times, but I can’t figure it out. The add to cart trigger (Metric) is not working. I’ve posted all the Code in the product-template.liquid (Sections) because Wokiee theme does not have a product.liquid. I’ve also tried both variants (class and ID) - still no metrics. I already see viewed product event associated with Mail (cookied)Would be great if somebody could help me on that. Thank you very much   ID   <script type="text/javascript">var _learnq = _learnq || [];document.getElementById("teeAtcButton").addEventListener('click',function (){  _learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);});</script> CLASS <script type="text/javascript">var _learnq = _learnq || [];  var classname = document.getElementsByClassName("tee-btn tee-btn--atc");var addToCart = function() {_learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);}; for (var i = 0; i < classname.length; i++) {classname[i].addEventListener('click', addToCart, false);}

I’m really liking the new updates to the dashboard, however if I can’t export it to send to a client, it feels kind of redundant and I have to basically rebuild the same thing in Google Data Studio. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that it would be freaking awesome if you could export either the whole dashboard or the cards straight out of Klaviyo.

When viewing a series of events/transactions in a customers profile, if an order is showing as fulfilled comes after receiving a campaign email, but the order was started before the campaign email was received, Klaviyo is attributing that order amount to the campaign. Example of timeline below:Fulfilled order xxxxOil Spray 237ml for £xxxx.    Tuesday 10.45Opened email ‘test campaign’.    Tuesday 9.45Received email ‘test campaign’.    Tuesday 9.30Ordered xxxxOil Spray 237ml for £xxxx.    Monday 11.06Started checkout xxxxOil Spray 237ml for £xxxx.    Monday 10.30The Oil Spray order (which was started before the ‘Test Campaign’ email was opened, but fulfilled after the ‘Test Campaign’ is being attributed as a sale that has come from the ‘Test Campaign’, but it wasn’t from this campaign. This is happening on all campaign stats.

My click through rate is proficient but my click rate is high. How can I boost my click through rate?? How does click through rate affect deliverability and what does it indicate?

I’m hoping someone can help me with the add to cart on my Klaviyo. A little background so you know what I’m working with. I use Shopify Debut theme. I POD with ShineOn and they have their own product pages that has a .liquid file in the theme. I’ve watched all the videos and read the articles(the videos and articles are different. The articles say paste in theme.liquid while Youtube videos say product.liquid). Nothing seems to be working. My preview item event is already set up(no code was required since it was just a click of a box. Thank you Klaviyo). One of the issues I’m running into is figuring out the button ID/class. Because I’m using ShineOn for my product pages it has it’s own .liquid file called product.shineon.liquid. This is also the location of the preview item script. When I right-click the add to cart button and inspect, here is the code I have for the button:<button id="so-btn-add-to-cart-7686243221717" class="so-form-btn-cta-main so-btn-add-to-cart" style="background-

What's the different between Metrics “open email” vs "click email"?
