Automating contact entry on date-based flows

Hi,  I have an EmailAutoStartDate set to 03/01/22. As you can see in the tests below, none of the flows were populated despite Klaviyo’s mention of “Klaviyo checks if someone qualifies for a flow daily via a check that runs a full day in advance.“ in this article https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054240252.  I need contacts to enter this flow automatically without any manual intervention via manage flow > back-populate. Now the question is how do I do this:I change the flow tigger to repeat monthly (as shown by green arrow) instead of yearly so every month new contacts enter the flow? Or there are other ways to achieve this automation?

Can Flows use Smart Send Time?

I’m aware of how to use Smart Send Time with campaigns, but it's not clear whether this option is enabled, disabled, or toggleable for Flows. I would *like* to have it available for flows but I can't seem to find any information about this.  Note that I am talking about Smart Send Time - the feature that optimizes the time an email is sent based on the recipient’s time zone/behavior - not Smart Send, the feature that ensures someone isn’t getting too many messages per day.

Klaviyo, please fix the test email process

There are simply too many steps required to send a test email for a campaign:1. Go to the campaign content2. Click "Edit email"3. Click "Preview email"4. Select "Send as an email" instead of the default "Show directly in Klaviyo"I can do this in HubSpot with one click, and every other ESP I’ve used has had a similarly simple interface.If Klaviyo wants to be taken seriously as an email platform, they need to get the basics right.

Flow to Flow

Possibly an incredibly stupid question.I have a welcome series. After 8 days, the welcome series is over. So, I want the people who have completed the welcome series be put in the next flow which is a nurture series.What is the best way to go about this? I can’t seem to figure out how to move people from one flow to another. Do I need to tag all profiles that have completed the welcome series or something and add that as a trigger? Not 100% sure how to proceed…Thanks!

Tips on best way to optimize a video as a GIF for email?

Hey! So I have a lot of video content that I could turn into GIF’s for email. The issue is that my video files are super large so my GIF has to be like .2 seconds to be an “okay” size for email. Does anyone have any tips on how to make video files smaller?I typically use EZ Gif for when I create gifs. Thank you!

Feature Request: Allow Subscribers to Trigger Flows More than Once

Override limit of only sending segment triggered flows to same subscriber once on a flow-by-flow basis. In some cases I want the subscriber to go to the flow each time just like they do with metrics.Example:When someone reaches a rewards points threshold If I’m giving away a PDF download and they forget they already signed up for it

Entering a flow after fixing an email address error

Hello - I have noticed that sometimes people are making a mistake and entering their wrong email address. For example instead of putting .com they may misspell it and write .con. As a result they are not entering any email nurture campaigns. What is the best practice for fixing this? Once I manually fix their email address they do not appear to be re-entering the flow. Any recommendations on the best process to fix this moving forward?

Flow email sequence not working

Hi all - we just launch our brand on Shopify with a carefully mapped out flow of emails. over teh last few months/weeks we’ve noticed that some of the emails are not being delivered to the recipients. Not sure why, despite the 5 day delay on our emails some of them haven't gone out and it is well over 2 weeks. Can someone please help?ThanksA

Emails sending twice

Hi, We have noticed that a number of our emails (flows and campaigns) are being sent and received twice by some recipients. Any ideas why this may be, and why smart sending would not have picked this up?Thanks

Why isn't Klaviyo tracking conversions?

I recently created a discount for my abandon cart flow.In Shopify I can see that 2 discounts have been applied and in Analytics I saw that at least one conversion has been attributed to Klaviyo.I was not able to find any conversion data directly in Klaviyo to confirm this besides the “Total Revenue” section.I have tested all events including purchases and they are reporting just fine so I was wondering what the best way to troubleshoot this.

Hello Everyone,I know this question has been raised a lot of times, but I can’t figure it out. How Do List data types work when adding a custom property in a flow?

Hello, I am working on a project for a client and trying to find an efficient way to tag customer profiles with a specific property. The client makes childrens adventure maps for different towns and cities. They would like me to tag everyone who places an order for a specific map.So in my head, adding a different custom property per map, is too messy. If someone buys 50 maps, they will have 50 custom properties on their profile and this becomes a pain to utilise in segments. So I thought about using lists so the custom property would look like this instead Map Purchase = [“Map A”],[“Map B”],[“Map C”]Now to create a flow to automate this - I have done the following:I made this draft flow thinking I need to add the new custom property first and then update it with the correct town/city name. So I did a create custom property at the top below the trigger where Map Purchase is Yes [list]. Then after the splits which will look for a specific map collection, use an update profile property to

Hi there,My business is a clothing subscription box service. Customers pay a styling fee,  and we send clothes out to them to try on, decide what they’re keeping, and send the rest back. Then, we charge them for whatever they’ve decided to keep. The fact that items aren’t paid for when they go out in a delivery has made a lot of our workflows/automation very complicated. We’re currently trying to figure out:We have a flow set to send an email to customers the day their package is delivered (to them) that reminds them they have 5 days to try on their things and get their returns back in the mail to us. They’ll be using a prepaid return label that comes in their box. 4 days after their box arrives, that same flow is set to remind them to have anything they’re returning in the mail be “tomorrow.” Will Klaviyo communicate with AfterShip Returns about that prepaid return label?Specifically, can we set a Conditional Split in Klaviyo to remove anyone who has already used their prepaid label f

Hello community.How can I leave a Flow configured so that it sends as many times as necessary regardless of whether the email entered by the user is repeated?I have a Klaviyo Signup Form inserted in my Shopify page, in order to attract potential customers, when testing with the same email I need the email to be sent again and again, as many times as necessary.Can someone help me with this.I understand that a custom metric can be created, but nothing more

How to exclude subscription orders from the revenue reports?

Guys I have some clients subscribed to my coffee program and I’ve been sending some marketing emails and realise that klaviyo took those orders that were in those days (by coincidence) and took like “$100” in sales and attributed it to the email campaign. This is not accurate because I know they’ve been automatically charged by our subscription program so they didnt buy because the campaign. How can I exclude this purchases from the campaigns report to make it more accurate? Im using the appstle subscription app for shopify.

Setting annual email flows based on specific fixed dates

Hey guys as I understand you cannot trigger an email flow annually on a specific date. For example in an email flow:1st of January - Happy New Year 8th March - Happy Women’s Day 25th December - Merry XmasCurrently there is no way to do that.Email campaigns won’t work for me as I have 27 dates to fill the year with these automations.  Would this be a suitable workaround?Set a custom property as “NewYear” with value “2023-01-01” for every contact in list Then count the number of days with a time delay  For example to send emails every 15th of January, the time delay would wait 14 days from date of “NewYear” property to trigger an email every 15th of January every year. Naturally 1 extra February day will mess up the flow every 4 years so will need to be adjusted twice every 4 years. Would this work?

I need to activate a flow for clients to update their data in my Signup Form inserted in my web page. Since my clients currently update their data, but the current Flow does not send that email again and they gave me the information that a Flow must be done based on metrics

Activate the Flow with emails already registered

Hello community.I have inserted a Signup Form on my page, connected to a Flow for subsequent automatic email. It turns out that when trying to refill said form with an already registered email, the Flow does not send your email again.How can I leave my Flow configured so that the email is always sent? I attach my screenshot for advice
