Sync product metafields on Shopify to Klaviyo

Question

Hello,

I would like to know how to sync products metafields on Shopify to Klaviyo, so I can send abandoned cart emails to the customers and show these metafields.

For example:

Product Shopify name: Extra dose coffee beans (New)
metafield for this product as a title: Coffee Beans
metafield for this product as a subtitle: Extra Dose

Expected output:

Product name on abandoned cart emails to show: (instead of showing the default Shopify product name)

Coffee Beans
Extra Dose

Hi @Kam!It’s not possible to alter the information that Shopify sends to Klaviyo in a native event from within Klaviyo’s UI. If this metadata is not available when viewingthe metric in the Analytics page and then clicking on the details under a customers' timestamp, then it won’t be available for use in an email:If you want to include more information, you would have to customize the Checkout Started metric (which triggers the abandoned cart flow) using our APIs. This type of custom effort would be beyond the scope of support/community, as it would require extra development.
