Question

Is there a way to create custom, complex layouts at the block level instead of the section level?

If I have a complex  reusable, editable layout—for example: '1-column, 2-column, 2-column, CTA'—it would be much more efficient to save this as a single Universal Block (or content block) rather than an entire section.

Ideally, I want my email to consist of just three main sections (Header, Content, and Footer) to keep the structure clean.

Is this already possible?

Hi @EnricoDevops,

You could technically accomplish this in a table, since tables allow you to add columns and rows, and put whatever image/text you want into each cell of the column. The only downside here is that you’re restricted to images and text, so the CTA would either have to be an image, or HTML written to work as a button, rather than an actual button block, for instance. Screenshot below showing how you’d structure the cells of a table to accomplish something like this:

You’d then save as universal content, and could insert it inside any section. That being said, there isn’t currently a way to group different blocks together, independent of a section, and save those blocks as universal content.
