Bulk remove contacts from a flow

I have a flow for back in stock alerts, using a back in stock sign up form on each product page. This is all working well.

I also have a scheduled Back in Stock report, which I use to analyse demand and plan inventory.
However over the years I have discontinued products that contacts had previously signed up to the back in stock alert for - and these contacts are essentially ‘stuck’ waiting in the flow - they will never move forwards as the product will never come back into stock.

This is causing an issue when it comes to the report, as it also includes all the archived products.
I’ve added a filter to the flow to exclude these contacts in the future, but it doesn’t remove anyone currently waiting.

How can I manage this and bulk remove contacts from the flow?
Thanks,

Scarlett

Hi @Scarlett_Marketing_TF,

Right now, it’s not possible to remove products/profiles from the back in stock report, though I understand how this would be useful in situations where certain SKUs are discontinued, or aren’t likely to come back in stock. Happy to bring this up to our product team to recommend we make it possible to remove these products and profiles in the future!

Hi @Byrne C

Thanks for your reply, it’s frustrating I cannot manually remove them.
Is it possible to copy the flow to effectively restart, and import the contacts in who are currently in the existing flow for our active products?

Hi @Scarlett_Marketing_TF,

Right now, that’s unfortunately not possible. Apologies for this.

@Byrne C thanks for your reply. Please can you let me know how I can manage this in that case/what the workarounds are? I rely on this report and need to be able to remove discontinued products.

Thanks

Hi @Scarlett_Marketing_TF,

I recognize that this isn’t the answer you want to hear, and I apologize for this, but there isn’t a way to remove old/discontinued products from the Back in Stock report. I did bring this up to our team, and after looking into this issue, I found that this is a frequently requested feature, so there’s certainly a chance that our product team adds this feature in the future.

The only workaround at the moment would be to reach out to our support team, and have them purge and re-sync your catalog. That would clear the entire back in stock report, and would also require you to rebuild all product feeds, which you may not want to do. But this is an option if you choose to go down this route. You’d just need to ask our support team to purge your catalog, and explain why you need it purged.

Hi @Byrne C

Thanks very much for looking into this further for me. Please can you let me know what would be involved in rebuilding product feeds?

Also, if I went for this option, would it remove everyone waiting on the report/in the flow - including the ones for active products that are not discontinued?

Thanks
