There is 0 feedback on the status of the export of reviews. All the information received is that I will receive an email when the export is ready. It’s been weeks since the first request. I keep requesting but still nothing. Can this be fixed and include more feedback on the status of the export?

Hi @wildw, you are not doing anything wrong. This is a known limitation of the current Klaviyo Reviews export flow.

Large or repeated review exports are processed asynchronously and there is no in app progress indicator or retry feedback beyond the “you will receive an email” message. If the job stalls or fails in the background, the UI does not surface an error, which is why it appears like nothing is happening even after multiple requests.

What you can do right now:

  • Submit a support ticket with the approximate date and time of your first export request so support can locate and restart the job

  • Reduce the export size if possible by filtering by date range or product

  • If you need the data urgently, ask support for a direct export from the backend or guidance on using the Reviews API as an alternative

Product feedback:
You are right that the export flow needs better status visibility and failure messaging. This has been raised before and is worth submitting as product feedback if you have not already.

The export is likely stuck server side, and only Klaviyo support can unblock it at the moment.

Thank you! Support helped a lot. I’ll post in here what helped for those who may experience this:

In this case, I suspect that because your email address uses a custom domain: yourdomain.com, your inbox provider may be filtering out this email that includes the export.

That said, can you please attempt the following:

1. Add a personal email address to your account as an "Admin" user

  • For example, add a gmail.com address as a user on your account. Then, login to your account using that personal email address, and attempt to export your reviews

2. Whitelist no-reply@klaviyo.com within your email@yourdomain.com

  • To clarify, please add no-reply@klaviyo.com as a contact within your email@yourdomain.com email address
