Klaviyo cannot tag each user like other platforms do. Although it’s possible to add custom fields to user profiles, this approach doesn’t allow you to accurately filter segments by a specific tag. It’s incredibly frustrating — after all these years, I still can’t properly tag my users. This seems like such a common and basic need.

Would you mind providing a bit more info about what you’re looking to accomplish through tagging profiles that cannot be accomplished by adding custom properties to those profiles and then segmenting by property?
