Manual Add to List - Trigger the Flow?

If I manually add to a list, and i have a flow triggered by this list, will the names automatically receive the email from the flow?

Thank you for asking the Klaviyo Community about List-triggered Flows!

As @Bobi N. already shared YES you can! As long as the profiles you are manually adding to your list have given you explicit consent to send them your marketing, they will automatically be added to any flow that has that list as the trigger. The Help Center doc that I included above goes over this in more detail and figured you and the Klaviyo Community members might want to read through it for more insight. YES! If you manually add people to a list that is trigger to Live flow people will start receiving emails from that flow

I’m having trouble with this. I’ve created a flow that triggers when a user is added to a specific list. I’ve manually added 2 of my profiles to the list to test it but no emails are being received. If I preview the flow, it shows that the emails should send, but they don’t. The analytics view also shows no users.

Hi @Weisswurst and @LukaDios,

Are you manually adding these profiles to your lists directly in their profile page? If so, then it’s expected that they won’t trigger the flow. The best way to manually add an individual profile to a list is to go to that list, and “Quick Add” the profile(s) you’re looking to add. That method should trigger the flow. Our help article here goes into detail on this.
