Hello! So I have a Post-Purchase Flow (basically someone purchases something): If this is their first purchase ever, then they go to a welcome email, and then a timer starts to send them another email if they haven’t purchased anything else during that timer, and so on.

My question is, to preview this flow using my email, do I need to set all the timers to something really small? Do I need to have purchased something? What are the best ways to test a workflow?

Hi @DaveinLA, just to add here, depending on how complex your Flow is, you can also use the “Preview Flow” feature to pick a recent Profile with a qualifying event to see how that person would have gone through the Flow journey (you can also choose a specific Profile too).  It will “highlight” the path that person will take:

Take a look at this feature:

Not sure if this helps, but it’s another tool to debug your Flow.

Hey @DaveinLA

To test your Post-Purchase Flow using your email, you don’t have to buy something for real. Just create a test profile with your email in Klaviyo and manually trigger the right event (like a "Placed Order" with properties showing it's the first purchase). Yes, you can shorten all the timers to like 1 or 2 minutes so you’re not waiting forever to see what happens. That way, you can quickly preview if everything works. After testing, change the timers back to the real values.

Let me know if you find this helpful?
