I’m trying to understand how mobile messaging works in Klaviyo. I have two questions:
Can mobile push notifications be sent on the Free plan? If not, how are they charged on paid plans - top-ups, credits, or profile-based?
Does “mobile messages” in pricing mean only SMS/MMS, or are push notifications included too?

Yes, Klaviyo’s Free plan allows you to send mobile push notifications. There is no separate fee for push notifications on either the Free or paid plans. However, push-enabled profiles count toward your active profile limit, so you will not be able to send any messages (including push) until you reduce your profile count or upgrade to a paid plan.
As for your second question, "mobile messages" in Klaviyo's pricing context generally refers to SMS and MMS, which are charged based on message credits or segments sent. Push notifications fall under a different category and are usually tied to your plan level rather than being metered like SMS.
