Hi @Unanimous_Anoymous_Marketer,
If you have more profiles than the free plan allows (250), you can remain on the free plan indefinitely, but you just won’t be able to send any emails until your active profile count is under 250, or you upgrade your plan. So if you’d like to stay on the free plan while you connect integrations, and build out flows/forms/segments, you certainly have the option to do so!
As @cadence mentioned above, you can suppress profiles, which allows you to keep their data, but makes it so you’re unable to email them. You don’t have to pay for suppressed profiles, so that’s an option! If you have profiles that you don’t even want in Klaviyo at all, you can delete profiles on the Profile Maintenance page. Note that this tool deletes a full list of profiles at a time, and once deleted, these profiles can’t be recovered.
In short, you have 4 options:
- Stay on the free plan while you get set up, and keep the active profiles, but be unable to send any emails.
- Suppress some profiles so they remain in Klaviyo, but don’t count towards your active profile count
- Delete profiles so they no longer exist in Klaivyo at all
- Upgrade your plan to a tier that allows for 14k profiles (or as many as you have after suppressing/deleting).
Let me know if this makes sense, or if I can help out with anything else!
