Hi @jesseb,No worries - oh no the absolute worse when you get through a long reply and it’s gone!!!Let me come back to you on a few pieces:Currently, we are not using any gym software with check in system, but I would like a way to note and target profiles based on if they have or have not taken a trial class. This may have to be a manual process to update profiles.That makes sense! You could actually create a simple Jotform for this as well - just have the front desk fill out the email address of the customer using their trial membership/class and you could use this as a trigger as well to email out the “How did your first class go?” email. You can create a Klaviyo event (Attended first trial class) by using this zap in Zapier. All signups (regardless of referral channel) should enter the same welcome series that would look something like this:email 1 - welcome to the community email 2 - class descriptions and schedule email 3 - member benefits and pricing email 4 - bring a friend pro

Linking a CTA to automatically log a customer into their Shopify account

Also adding onto @retention’s answer above - if you use the New Shopify Accounts (note - you can’t customise this much past branding) the my account area URL will change, but this will also include a cookie with a 1 year expiration date.Login happens with a 6 digit code sent to the email address of the customer. All the info about this on the Shopify help centre here!

Hi @Kaunis,Welcome to the Klaviyo community and thank you for your questions.The most common reason for this would be if you have double opt-in enabled, and customers have not accepted. You can find this setting through lists → click 3 dots next to the list → List Settings → Consent: Is Double Opt-in currently enabled?ThanksDavid

@jesseb PS: Just thinking more about your prospective members. If you updated a value on their profile to say whether or not they have attended their trial class (this could be an easy form for the reception team to complete, or could even be done via integration of your gym software) you could add that in too as a flow filter or conditional split.You could even push these customers that have attended a trial class but haven’t signed up into a new nurturing flow to market them the benefits of signing up to become a full member, and ask for a review about the trial class they’ve done. The strategies from here are endless - but thought I would add some additional thoughts 😄ThanksDavid

Hi @jesseb,Thank you for your question. Firstly - I’m a huge group fitness fan (Les Mills here in New Zealand), great to see some gym use cases here! My recommendation here would be this:Create individual sign up forms - you can either embed them directly into the URL (www.mygym.com/instagram-signup) or use UTM parameters to target the specific customer (https://www.mygym.com?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=signup_promo). Screenshot below sits in the “targeting & behaviour” settings of the Klaviyo Form Builder: In the form you can submit a hidden profile property (ie. it’s not shown to the customer) with the referral. The other option is to use the “Initial source” field. Example of hidden profile property: Inside the Welcome Flow you can add conditions so that you can target your content depending on the sign up source: I would highly recommend having only a single list (benefits here), and basing the start of the flow either on entering that list. Hi @Anita.UnalomeDesign,Perfect - no you would use the On the date property value in this case. I’m assuming you’ve created the first purchase date in a different flow already.Question for you, have you set the emails to live? Your original email cuts off right before the part where it shows the action status:Do you have some profiles that have now hit their 1 year anniversary? You should be able to see this by looking up a profile that hit their anniversary in the last month, and clicking on “View messages”, then clicking scheduled at the top. This will show you when the email is scheduled to go out (in my case below, I was having a play around with the workings of this flow):

No worries @cs_cooke - and definitely wouldn’t send them one after another, just build in some wait steps :) Especially if you’re delivering food ideas, I wouldn’t mind getting recipes every few days.It is odd though that you’re not getting the right value out of the string. Hi @cs_cooke,Welcome to the Klaviyo community!I believe the issue here is the == statement - this looks for an absolute match of this value. The correct query in this case would be‘Low FODMAP Recipes’ in person|lookup:'Almost done... (ETC)'More information around the different lookups can be found in here.As an alternative, you could also approach this by using a conditional split in a flow. You’d have to build out different templates, but it could be a good way to increase the length of your flow as you could send each item in an individual email rather than send them all at once. The conditional split could look something like this:Then after YES you could merge it back in with the remainder of the flow. It is a little bit more work but it would allow you to measure the impact of each of the emails with the information provided (open, click, placed order rate) and it would potentially be less overwhelming if I’ve given in multiple options (so that each of the emails has a clear CTA).

By default some of the targeting settings are enabled:Also - make sure you hit the “Publish Changes” option in the top right corner when you’re editing: If you are targeting only customers that are not in Klaviyo, it may pay to look at your website in incognito/private mode in your browser - this makes sure the form doesn’t read your cookies.I hope that resolves it - let me know how you go!ThanksDavid

So this first email won’t go out until 365 days after your first entered the flow. What is the full breakdown of the trigger here? Are you tagging a profile with the first purchase date in a different flow? ThanksDavid

How do I clear all Flow Filters so it displays every flow?

Hi @MatthewR,I completely agree with you. When you click on it, there is no filter applied. However looking at the actual URL you can see the filter applied is to not show archived flows.I have submitted this to the Klaviyo team as feedback already.ThanksDavid

HI @annette_yepoda & @giang_y42,That’s strange, for me I’m getting a 200 response now. I’ve just tested it again and it’s working fine. What is the response body you are receiving? Great answer @sonomaemail! I completely agree with considering the email client market share. You can see the performance of email clients in your own deliverability report for a campaign (click on a sent campaign, click “Deliverability” at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom “Performance by email client).We also use Litmus to test all our emails - it’s an excellent tool if you have budget for it!ThanksDavid

How can I limit the number of results in API response?

Hi @shubham773,No worries! I don’t think you are able to change the batch limit unless there are less than 10 results or you are able to filter down the list based on the Name, ID, Created date or updated date. Hope that helps!ThanksDavid

Collecting emails at live event.

Hi @CookieChris,Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!There are lots of ways to approach this. If your audience is relatively tech savvy, I would simply display a QR code either on your slides or printed out on posters. This could link back to a dedicated sign up form and people can sign up directly from their own mobile device.Depending on the type of event the other option would be to use an iPad at the event where people can sign up. You can redirect the sign up form back to the original page on completion so that the next person can put their details in.I hope this is helpful and that your event runs well! ThanksDavid

Matching image color to background color

Hi @The Lilley Line,Welcome to the Klaviyo community!I don’t believe this functionality is currently available in the Klaviyo Email Designer. However in this case I would recommend using a colourpicker add on in your browser. This will allow you to take the colour from any source/website and copy the colour code. You can then copy this colourcode in the background colour section. My personal favourite in Google Chrome is ColorPick Eyedropper, but there are lots listed in the Chrome store!I hope that helps!ThanksDavid

Hi @MatthewR,Welcome to the Klaviyo community!This is a great question, I had to go and look to see what filter you are referring to. It isn’t super clear when you click on filter selected, but I realised by looking at the URL of the default flow page that it filters out any archived flows:https://www.klaviyo.com/flows?page=1&archived=falseIt appears that by default it removes any archived flows. If you want to view your archived flows you can see these by clicking Options → View Archived Flows This is a little confusing in the UI and I will submit this to the Klaviyo team as feedback.I hope that helps!ThanksDavid

Notification when subscriber updates preferences

Hi @Nanette,Thank you for your question in the Klaviyo community!On the SMS Subscription there could be a few reasons the details aren’t showing up. Are you already signed up for SMS? If not, you are not able to collect consent for customers. If you are, I would recommend capturing the sign ups by targeting customers that are set up for email but not SMS using a custom sign up form. Customers are required to provide consent based on the the disclosure language. More info here.If you wanted to be notified when someone subscribes to a list (for example, SMS Subscribers), you can set this up in a flow where you use the “Internal Alert” functionality. Depending on your list size be warned that this could become noisy in your inbox 😉 I hope that helps!ThanksDavid
