Sign-up form and GDPR

Hi Alex Thanks :-)In my previous mail system, i had a checkbox that new leads had to accept (privacy policy and GPDR) before signing up.  But I can see that I only need to write it, and de accept by filling out the popup form.  Is there added a link where leads can edit their profile? Best regards Erik

Hi @Erik-Gilpa, Can you clarify what you are trying to do when you ask about “Is there added a link where leads can edit their profile” ? Yes - In my previous mail system there was a link in the bottom af a newsletter/emails, where readers could update their preference.

Engaged SegmentsTutorial

I am new to Klaviyo and has just made an integration to my MailChimp account. I have then build a 30 days Engaged segment:Not Suppressed ANDIs in main mailing list ANDHas opened email in last 30 days ORHas clicked email in last 30 days ORHas been added to main mailing list in last 15 days When looking in this segment it is more and less all profiles in my list, that are included in the segment. Is this because they are all just added to Klaviyo?

Will a user go through my flow again if they sign up for another form that re-adds them to the List?

Hi @Taylor Tarpley  Thanks for your answer.  So if I want a welcome flow for both signup forms, I then need to different list or can I use a “Conditional Split - $source not equal Hvalpebog”? Best Erik

Hi @Erik-Gilpa,    Yes, if you want users who filled out the different forms to receive a different email because of how they signed up, then yes you can use that property to separate them in a conditional split! Additionally, I’d recommend checking out our documentation on the benefits of having a single main list as it easier to keep up with, list clean and helps with your overall account hygiene!    -Taylor  You mean it is best with one list, instead of several lists?That was my thought, and that's why my suggestion using conditional split, to separate users on how the signed up, but still ending in the same list, and still receive my welcome flow.  Best Erik

Hi @alex.hong  Thank you for your answer.  I not quite sure I understand it correct.  I.e. I send a campaign yesterday to the segment on the picture. The preference page for this e-mail is the preference from the menu on the left side?

Product link in Abandoned Cart flow

Hey @Erik-Gilpa  Thank you for reaching out for help with your abandon cart email. Quick question do you have the {{ item.ProductName }} linked with the same ProductURL as the photo, it is showing as a link (in blue but can't see what you have set for the actual URL. I have only uset the standard flow for Abandon Cart and has no changed anything. I can see that the link from the text was not {{ item.ProductURL }} - That I have changed now :-) Thank You :-)

Is it possible to create a SITE abandonment flow?

Hey @Erik-Gilpa, Do you mind providing more details on what you mean by “changing the (ordered product event) setting”? If you’re connected to Klaviyo from an ecommerce platform that has a native integration with Klaviyo, you typically wouldn't have the ability to edit those metric/event settings.  That just me - i’m not into all the tecnical part of the integration. It is a danish webshopsystem that are connected via API (I think). They only use “Placed Order”.
