Adding Past Profiles - after adding an email to an existing flow

Hello!We currently have a Post Purchase ”Care Guiide” flow for one of our best selling collections, and this has been running for over a year and a half. There’s currently one email in the flow (and it goes out 50 days post fulfillment - with the trigger being “has placed order in ** collection”)We’d like to add a second email to this flow in the next few weeks, but would like to have this go out 180 days post fulfillment. Now my question is, i see that you can select the action “add past profiles”. Can someone confirm with me that if i select add past profiles, people who already received email 1 of this flow, would then go back into the flow and receive email 2 (180 days), once they’ve hit that timing period. Say they purchased this sofa 100 days ago, they received email 1 and now they only need to wait 80 more days to receive that second email?Thanks in advance!

Receiving Mailchimp removal request

 Hello Klaviyo community!We migrated from Mailchimp to Klaviyo over 2 years ago and still have our mailchimp integration on just in case. All email communications we send are from Klaviyo (marketing) or Shopify (for transactional) The odd time (maybe 1 or 2x a month), we’ll receive this automated email from mailchimp to remove a contact that has requested, which i then remove their profile that we have in Klaviyo.Does anyone know why this wouldn’t come to Klaviyo as a request? Secondly, when I go to look at said customer, they’ve JUST subscribed to our main newsletter the moment we get this email. It’s very few and far but I am curious if anyone knows why it goes through Mailchimp and also what this request looks like from a customer’s point of view.

Can I take a pre-exisiting list and subscribe them to our main newsletter list?

Hello!I am looking at sending an email campaign with an intro to our company (a marketing email), but they’re taking part in an upcoming trade program/contest and the program owners have given us this list of emails to send an email to.They DO accept marketing, but I want to send them this initial email first, and would like them to join our main newsletter list at a later time (after this email has gone out). However, anytime a contact is added to our newsletter list, they go into our welcome series. I do not want them to receive our regular welcome series email. I have created a separate list that i will send this campaign from.I know I can add a customized profile property tag when uploading this CSV ie. “Brand Tag” and can manually upload this list again to our main newsletter list and add a flow filter to the Welcome Series Flow of “Customized Profile Property Tag” does not equal “Brand Tag”.I guess my question is, would the above be the correct way to do it? Or is there a way to

What happens with the emails when I turn my welcome series to draft

Hello!I have a welcome series of 3 emails with a $100 off code. Email 1 they get right as they signup, Email 2 they get 2 days after, and email 3 is 4 days after. We have 3 sales a year and when we have our sales, i’ve created a separate welcome series that does not include this code.When i set our “sale” version of the welcome series to live, i turn our original welcome series with the code to draft. My question is, what happens to people that are in the flow (and set to receive email 2 or 3). Do they drop out of the flow and not get the email at all? or will they get it when i turn the welcome series back on?Thank you!

Sending a "campaign" to an uploaded list - not necessarily signed up for marketing email

Hi there,I’m looking at sending an email notice to our design/trade clients (sending from Klaviyo vs a personalized email from a team member). We have a large list that we’re uploading separately to ensure accuracy vs. creating a segment with a “trade” tag from shopify.I’m looking at sending this as a campaign as that’s easier for me and will be uploading this specific list and only sending this specific email to that “trade” list. My question is, when i upload this list do i select “does not opt in for email marketing” and will they still receive this specific campaign? Quite a few of these emails have NOT opted in for email marketing. Thanks in advance!

Main Newsletter List not decreasing after suppressing/list cleaning

Hi, Based on Klaviyo’s recommendation, i’ve been doing list cleaning about every 3-6 months.I’ve created a segment of unengaged profiles (ie. 180 days 0 clicks + 0 opens + is IN main newsletter list + can receive marketing emails).I then upload this list to suppress and upload the CSV under profiles>suppressed>I noticed that once i upload them here, my main newsletter list number still stays the same and doesn’t decrease.I’ve also created an “can receive marketing emails + is in newsletter list” segment, and it differs from the full number in our main newsletter list.So I wanted to confirm that these suppressed profiles are still sitting in my main newsletter list?

Removing underline on text that has a date/time

Hi! Noticed in testing my email that the date/day of the week has been underlined and giving the option to link it to my calendar in my phone and add it as an event. Anyone know if there’s a way around this to not show? PS, this is Live Text/Text within Klaviyo.See below where it’s underlining “Sunday morning breakfast” on an iphone and suggesting to add it to my calendar.

SMS - how to get accurate subscriber list

Hello!I am looking at calculating the actual SMS subscriber count but noticing that the SMS list that I have doesn’t remove those have unsubscribed to SMS. This is my full SMS list I currently have our email pop up and embedded forms directing to this list.Is there a simple way to create this as a segment / report?Looks like the most accurate list i have would be recipients for past sends.Thanks in advance!

Hi Klaviyo community,I’m creating a landing page through Unbounce and would like to collect emails through a pop-up signup form. This is a whole separate website from our shopify website, but looking to add the same pop-up as we have on shopify. Anyone had experience with this or know how to do this?

Sending a winback or transactional email to non-subscribers

Hi,We’re looking into potentially sending a transactional/flow email to active profiles that are unsubscribed.We’d love to add something a banner about an upcoming sale. I made a segment of “purchased all time” and “not subscribed”, and it’s almost double what our “purchased all time” and “subscribed”.  Wondering if i’m able to send them an email if they’re not opted into our marketing emails. Would this be a winback, and would that be okay to send if they’re not subcribed?We have a pretty high open rate, so I don’t want this to ruin our deliverability, but would love to re-engage our purchasers who don’t want to receive marketing emails.A few questions:Will this affect our deliverability? Has anyone done this and found success?
