I use hybrid templates as a part of my workflow of uploading emails to klaviyo.
I would love to be able to add a universal section to these emails, however this isn’t currently allowed. Universal blocks can be added, however, universal sections do not appear. Also, styles can not be changed in the Klaviyo drag-and-drop builder for Hybrid templates.
Can these two features be added to Hybrid templates?
1. Add Universal Sections to Hybrid templates.
2. Allow template styling with Hybrid templates.

+2Agreed, the more capabilities for leveraging these hybrid templates the better. Looks like these capabilities are still not available. Would also be great to make the drag/drop functionality available at the template level too, i.e., right now only after you add these hybrid templates to a flow or campaign do you get the drag/drop functionality but would be nice that they are hybrid as templates as well so someone can iterate there also. Seems common that apps and integrations would be creating these templates as a starting point for clients to then modify, adjust, and use.

+2Hi all! Wanted to share an update on the progress of these suggestions.
Over the past year, I haven't heard back from Klaviyo on the two items I listed above. However, I was able to build some pretty exciting tools with the hybrid template feature. My main use case was connecting Figma to Klaviyo with a tool that automatically slices images, generates alt text, and pulls link addresses directly from Figma into Klaviyo.
Last year, we launched our web app that did this process, and just this week we launched our Figma plugin that allows Figma to Klaviyo email builds in one click. We've sliced over 15k emails with Grotto Slice and are excited to officially bring it directly to the Figma Plugin Store!
