Hey everyone, First post here. I have a list of phone numbers collected from our retail locations. They haven’t explicitly consented to receiving marketing texts and I’m wondering the best way to obtain consent. I know there’s an auto message that can go out through the Compliance Keywords but not sure how to trigger this text to go out. Also don’t love that this would be the first message they’d receive. Ideally would send them a quick text saying something about their retail loyalty points (which they have consented to receive information about) and then saying something that prompts marketing optin. Any help would be appreciated.
I created a Klaviyo embed form. I clicked “Collect consent”. But when I test this out, only USA contacts have consent. UK contacts do not. Why?
I have an SMS flow launching today and I entered myself into the flow last night to test it. I received my opt-in messages, but the first SMS message failed to deliver due to "Device Disconnected" and I'm in the "Waiting" status for the second message.My device is definitely still connected and I need help troubleshooting so this doesn't happen to my customers who opt-in today.

Those who put there email address they are receiving email from klaviyo but they are not getting SMS from klaviyo. Could you please help me why klaviyo is not sending SMS? Thank you!
Hello, One of my clients has bought out another business and absorbed their contacts. Of these contacts they are SMS numbers that had previously opted into the business’ SMS marketing. Are we able to then send SMS messages to these absorbed contacts after updating profile properties to “consented”?
It looks like Klaviyo SMS gives the option to shorten all links, or shorten no links.For the first SMS in our onboarding flow, we’d like a short unsub link, but our branded homepage link to our website.This is to reassure customers that the message is legit, and potentially in future, we can apply UTMs to our branded link.Maybe there’s a clever hack we can do for this? We tried creating the branded link through concatenated markdown logic, but that still got shortened. Maybe we could add it as a custom field on each user? Thanks
Hello, can a subscriber have more than one profile property? Here’s where I’m having a glitch, it might be an error in my set up?Day 1: A user signs up for emails: enters an email welcome flow that runs over 7 days. At the start of the flow, a new profile property is added (‘In Flow’ - Welcome (email)). This allows me to create a segment of anyone who is on that flow so I can exclude them from other email campaigns for now. The profile property is removed as they exit the flow. (Profile property ‘In flow’ is removed).Day 2: Same user signs up to SMS, enters an SMS welcome flow that runs over 3 days. Again, at the start of the flow, a new profile property is added which says that they are ‘In Flow’ - Welcome (SMS). The profile property ‘In flow’ is removed as they exit the flow. What I’ve noticed is that when they go into the SMS welcome flow, they are being removed from the email welcome flow and I’m not sure why. I tested it out with my own email address yesterday and stopped receive
I’m a little confused about where the line is drawn for SMS opt-in, regardless of the country. Klaviyo training and experience have repeatedly shown me “Text YES to opt-in” when platforms have my number, but this is still an SMS message which I did not give consent to receive (unless it says somewhere in T&Cs that I consent to receive an opt in message). Even if I ignore or say no, what’s stopping an organisation from sending me daily messages offering me desperately to opt in (although I’d just mark as spam).

I’m trying to send out an sms blast and test different times but it seems to be glitching and sending it all at once...
We are running into an issue with the “unsubscribe” words with SMS. We offer subscriptions of our products to our customers. Every time a customer texts us to say they want to “cancel their subscription” it unsubscribes them from SMS because it contains the word “cancel”. They then resubscribe and send the same message only for the exact same outcome to occur, causing an extremely frustrating loop for the customer. There must be a way to add a word that will stop the word “cancel” from unsubscribing from SMS?
Hi Community, I’m looking for advice on how to deploy a transactional sms message for shipping notifications without signing folks up for marketing SMS. Does it make sense to separate transactional SMS and marketing sms recipients? Does it make more sense to ask for marketing SMS consent? “Sign up for shipment tracking notification via SMS and other messages”. Therefore collecting typical consent? I have a custom site and Klaviyo integration. I assume I’ll have Events/Metrics posting to Klaviyo profiles with shipment tracking updates are available… with a parameter that tells me which kind of message it is. “It’s shipped” “Arriving Tomorrow” “Out for delivery” “Delivered!”. Looking forward to learning your approach.
Klaviyo Support states that their SMS is not able to send order tracking texts because it doesn’t pull in carrier tracking data from Shopify. What platform or APP do you use to send text’s to customers with order tracking?

I’ve been following this help article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049930372#signupdownvote as I want to be able to send personalized SMS’s based off of what our customers reply back to our SMS’s with. Aka, when we send an SMS asking our customers: “Do you want baking or cooking recipes?”We want to reply back with a cookie recipe if they say baking and a chicken recipe if they say cooking. However, when I use the “SMS sent” metric trigger or conditional action I am unable to find the “Message Body” field that the instructions say to pull in order to respond to the keyword and track what our customers are saying. Any way to resolve this?

My question is, if I want to put an SMS sign up offer in a printed publication, what legal language is required?For example, in a catalog going to 50,000 customers, I want to print on the back cover:Text “JOIN” to “xxx-xxx-xxxx” to receive 10% off!What “fine print” do I need to include?
Hi. Is it possible to remove the short weblink from the beginning of SMS messages that we send? Because I’ll be needing to include a link later on in the message and it looks clumsy otherwise
