We just got a new office number that we need to use for the two-factor code, but I don’t see any field in any of our settings that allows me to update that number?

Hey @Quiet Owl

Another great question! Have you seen the Help Center article on multi-factor authentication? While you can’t update  the current two factor settings you can disable it and then set up MFA.

  1. Navigate to your organization name in the bottom left corner.
  2. Click Account & billing.
  3. Head to the Security tab.
  4. Uncheck the box to turn off multi-factor authentication.
  5. In the resulting modal, click Disable.

There is a section in the article i linked above that goes through the steps your company may need to make to reset it for everyone if MFA is a requirement.

Hope this helps!

Wait, are you saying there’s no way to update a phone number? At all?

So if we lose access to that phone number with two-factor enable on one of our client’s accounts, we lose access to our entire business account?

To change the phone number for 2-Step Verification on the mobile apps:
Go to the More menu.
Select "Settings"
Select "Password & Security"
Click on "Change mobile phone"
Go through 3 steps to re-authenticate, change your mobile phone number, and enter the code to verify the new number.
