Hi there,

I recently build some flows using the prebuilt shopify logic. However, if I wanted to change my website from shopify how would I change the logic so it pulls in the right feeds from my new store without redoing all my emails from scratch?

First, connect your new platform to Klaviyo via a native integration (if available) or using Klaviyo's API.

Common integrations include platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or custom-built stores.

Steps:

Navigate to Account > Integrations in Klaviyo.

Search for and configure the integration for your new platform.

Test to ensure event data (like checkout started, abandoned cart, etc.) flows into Klaviyo.

 

Update the Event-Based Triggers in Your Flows

Shopify-specific flows, such as Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, or Browse Abandonment, are triggered by Shopify-specific events like Started Checkout or Placed Order.

After integrating your new platform, update the triggers to use the equivalent events from the new platform.

Steps:

Go to Flows in Klaviyo and open the flow you want to update.

Edit the trigger to match the new event (e.g., "Checkout Started" or "Order Completed").

If the new platform uses custom event names, ensure they match in the trigger settings.
