Hey there,

I am trying to update the color of the heading and text but it seems that it always displays in turqioise-ish color.
I’ve tried to add an inline style color in html as well but without success.

I cam across this post:

Apparently 2 years ago, this was not possible to update the headings and text colors.
Are there been any update on this since then ?
If yes, how to update the color?

Thanks a lot for your feedback

Hey @nathan_pluetra,

From what I can confirm, there hasn’t been a change to that specific limitation in the built-in preference page editor. The older answer is still consistent: the built-in preference page header text color isn’t something you can explicitly control, even though the consent page editor does let you change other things like page styles, blocks, button styling, and text content.

A couple quick things are worth checking just so we don’t blame the wrong thing:

  • Make sure you’re editing the right page scope: Klaviyo uses account-default consent pages for segments, multi-list sends, and event-triggered flows, but list-specific pages only apply when an email is sent to exactly one static list.

  • Make sure you’ve checked both the main Preferences page and the Success page, then published changes as those are edited separately in the consent page builder.

If you’re trying inline HTML color styles and they’re still getting ignored, that lines up with the current limitation rather than you missing a setting. If you need full control over heading/text colors, the supported path is a custom hosted consent page instead of the built-in one.

The catch there is that hosted pages are only available for paid, verified accounts, and they’re really a developer/custom-code route. We don’t provide hands-on troubleshooting for custom code itself.

In sum, to my knowledge:

  • Built-in consent pages do support some customization, just not full styling control over everything.

  • There’s no official documentation I found showing that the built-in heading color on preference/success pages is now natively editable.

If helpful, I can also bring this back in as product feedback. Seeing this come up again definitely helps reinforce that this is still a real gap.
