Back In Stock | Script Error

I’m trying to install BIS to the Symmetry theme on Shopify. I have done this NUMEROUS times, on multiple different themes and have never had an issue.  At first I thought I had the wrong alternate anchor, but I did get it to show up ONE time. Unfortunately it was in the wrong place and after trying to adjust it, it’s never loaded again.  It looks like the script is actually erroring out. I don’t really know enough about that, but are there any common issues I might be able to troubleshoot on my own? I’ve already turned off other apps to ensure there isn’t a conflict, viewed product tracking is turned on, etc. And I already know that BIS doesn’t work seamlessly with “custom” themes.

Sending SMS via the API?

Hi there, I’ve looked through the documentation provided and, unfortunately, it is severely lacking complete examples and explanations. Please help us an provide a complete example in cURL of: How can I create and send an SMS campaign completely via the API? How can I add media (image) to the content of such campaign? How can I send an SMS to an individual phone that has already double-opted in?We need an automated way to create a campaign daily and attach an image, all of this through the API. Looking forward to hearing from you. This functionality is critical to us.

V2 API key invalid for Get List and Segment Members but is valid for other requests

I have a private API key that I am using to authenticate API calls to the v1-v2 legacy version of the API.The API key works when I call the following endpoints:- v1/lists- v1/metrics- v1/flows- v1/campaignsBut, when I call this endpoint: "v2/group/LIST_OR_SEGMENT_ID/members/all" I get a 403 response with a message "The API key specified is invalid." How can this API work for all attempted endpoints except when trying to get the members of a list or segment?

Back In Stock & the Shopify Dawn 2.0 Theme

Is there really no way at all to utilize the Notify When Back in Stock functionality on a Shopify Dawn theme? It’s one of Shopify’s premiere 2.0 themes. if anyone has seen a hack or some code snippets that can get it to work, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Webhooks don't include custom header

We have some webhook actions on a couple of new flows for clients that aren’t working right. They trigger correctly and have the right body content, but the custom header we set is completely missing. Oddly, this is only on the new flows we set up. We have several others for other clients that are set up the same way and continue to work fine. I also tried setting a simple test flow with a webhook on my dev account and the same thing happens. The webhook is triggered but it doesn’t have the custom header. P.S. Sorry for the cross post from the Developer Group, but I realized it makes more sense to ask in this group.

Klaviyo V1/V2 API Retirement

Hi, hope everyone is doing fine! I went through all the migration resources provided by Klaviyo. The one thing that isn’t still clear to me, that where we can find the code to update in Shopify? For example, I have a  “/track” legacy API now I want to update it with new version, where I can find the code to update this? And how to do it because the migration resources are not much clearer. Retrieving and Updating Customer List Presence and Properties in Klaviyo

Hello Klaviyo Community,I'm currently working on a system where I aim to synchronize and manage customers from Klaviyo lists. My question is: Is it possible to retrieve information regarding whether a customer is included in a list and when they unsubscribe? I've already tried subscribing to metrics, but there have been instances where the metrics weren't triggered and the customer wasn't updated. Also tried fetching all customers from a list but then my customers in DB have still status that they are in the lists, because i don't receive the ones who unsubscribed. Additionally, I would like to update consents (including profile properties) for customers. I was thinking about sorting profiles by the "updated" timestamp and updating subscriptions and properties based on that. Can I rely on this method of sorting by updated timestamp, or is there a better approach that I might be missing?Thank you

Not all woocommerce products are synced with the flow

Hey Guys,  I am having an issue with my Woo integration, the connected store has 10 products and in Klaviyo-products I can see all the items but when I want to add a product to a trigger filter in a flow it not showing most of the products.It has last synced today so that should not be the case, anyone know what is happening here?Thanks on forehand.

remove email from list gives 400 bad request error with error message error nil

Hi there,We are using the endpoint https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v2/group/{list_or_segment_id}/members/all to get all the emails from a list and then using that on this endpoint https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v2/list/{list_id}/members to delete all the emails returned by the first endpoint from the same list. Sometimes we get 400 response code but the error message is empty. It would be useful to get a message that specifies exactly what part of the request is not correct.I checked for the email list sent to not be empty and for the emails sent to be correct, so that is not the problem, what else could cause this 400 bad request response? Thanks!

Custom Cart Integration and Klaviyo.Identify. When and Where?

I’m integrating Klaviyo into a custom shopping cart solution.Currently I’m running the klaviyo.identify({ "$email": "some@email.com"}); only upon login or registration (this is when I get the user email). I assume that this is enough and once cookied Klaviyo will continue to track the user without the need of additional identify calls. But is that the reality?Should I run identify on every page?In the documentation I find this example klaviyo.identify({}); what is that good for if it send nothing to be identified upon. This confuses me even more.Please explain when and where should I call klaviyo.identify. Thank you! P.S.I feel like I’m asking a stupid question but the documentation did not really help me. Google did not either. I even resorted to asking chatgpt but this thing is even more confused than me.

GTM 'Viewed Product' Works on Debug Only

How do you dynamically display content in emails for non-customers only

Hi All.  We are putting together a newsletter for our Shopify e-commerce business, and want to send it to all customers and email subscribers (i.e., people who gave use their email for a discount or other reason, but have yet to purchase).  The majority of content in the newsletter will be the same, but we want to include a special promotion for non-customers only.  We cannot figure out the dynamic variable logic required to do this and hoping someone here can help.  Thanks!

API breaking change – 'subscriptions' must be requested via additional-fields

We started getting this error on the /profiles API a few days ago even though there has been no change to our app.{ "errors": [ "status": 400, "code": "invalid", "title": "Invalid input.", "detail": "'subscriptions' must be requested via additional-fields in order to be included as a sparse fieldset", "source": { "parameter": "additional-fields" } ]}This was not previously required and is not documented at all. Even worse is that it was changed for previous versions of the API, which defeats the purpose of having versions in the first place.Tagging a “community manager” just to hopefully get some attention on this (@Brian Turcotte ). I don’t have any way of contacting Klaviyo directly.

Using PHP SDK (API Revision: 2023-08-15) Can I get profile by email?

Hi!I’m transitioning from the old version to the new Klaviyo API. I’m using the php SDK  but I found an issue when createProfile() and now I think there is more than one issue.So I’m thinking to use the raw PHP using this Klaviyo API DocumentationI found that we MUST HAVE the Unique ID (Klaviyo) of the user in order to getProfile, I dont have that ID saved on the database, we used to query by email.I can save the Unique ID on the database from now on, but I would like to know if there is a way to getProfile by email instead of Unique ID or what could be the option here for the users that are already saved on Klaviyo and I dont have the Unique ID ?Thank you

Create Event API call 401 error

I’m trying to get the create event api working but as soon as I send a request, it gives me a 401 error with a message saying Authentication credentials were not provided. details: missing or invalid authorization scheme. Please use Klaviyo-API-Key. So I have the private key set up as PRIVATE_KEY and have been trying various different custom headers such as Authorization: PRIVATE_KEY and Authorization: Klaviyo-API-Key {{PRIVATE_KEY}}. But, it seems nothing is working. I have also added revision:”string” but still nothing. Any suggestions as to what I should be doing?

After an order is placed, how can I add a custom metafield value from Shopify as an order event property in Klaviyo?

When to use phone_number attribute versus $phone_number property?

I’m working on migrating to the new API and noticed that when I use the server-side profile create(POST) or update(PATCH) and put “phone_number” as an attribute, I get back “Error: Conflict” if that phone number already exists in my Klaviyo account.  However, if I instead put the phone number in the properties list as “$phone_number”, it updates the phone number just fine and allows duplicates.I’m inclined to use the latter since the e-commerce platform I’m integrating DOES allow duplicate phone numbers, but I want to make sure I’m not missing something or this isn’t going to be “fixed” down the road to start throwing errors.I guess broadly, what’s the difference between using attributes versus the “$” prefixed versions in properties?  There seems to be similar behavior for the “email” attribute versus “$email” property.Edit: Actually, a bigger issue is that on the old API, I could update $email and $phone_number properties by just posting with a profile ID and nothing in the payload e

Submission Form Not Displaying on Elementor Pro Popup

I’m using the Klaviyo Wordpress plugin to connect our website to our Klaviyo account. We have a Klaviyo sign up form embedded in the footer via Elementor Pro which works fine. I’m now trying to design a newsletter popup form with Elementor Pro popups however the form isn’t displaying inside the popup. I can see the element inside the DOM but if I give it height using CSS, nothing more appears, just empty space. I’m using Firefox on MacOS.
