body is missing the custom_message drop

Hello,When Im trying to paste and save the code snippet that was created via the Klayvio email templates, into my Shopify Abandoned cart email body, I get this error “body is missing the custom_message drop” Reached out to Shopify support and they say it is from Klayvio’s side and has to be resolved by them.Anyone can help with this, please?

Embedded form on Shopify appears with no contents on site

Hi! I’ve attempted to follow Klaviyo’s instructions for inserting an embedded form created in Klaviyo onto my client’s Shopify site (Rewild Organics). There appears to be a div space made on the page when I insert the code snippet onto the page in theme files but the contents of the form appear to be empty.There was one instance in which I inserted the code snippet into a Template file (as opposed to in a Section file, which is where the installation manual points to), and the form successfully appeared both on the live site and in the Shopify front end page editor, but upon refresh the form was gone. So I have hope this can work, but I am confused.A few steps I have checked off according to the signup form troubleshooting page:My signup form code snippet is verified -- and we already have newsletter sign ups flowing to Klaviyo My site is live Behaviors tab is set to allow form to be viewable by all visitors and site URLs Not on internet explorer Have tried in an incognito window and c

Organizing my lists - best practices?

I’m trying to organize my lists better.  My new sign-ups go to the newsletter list, but old contacts from Mailchimp that accept marketing and aren’t suppressed are in a separate list which needs to be cleaned.  My question is what would the best practice be for cleaning the list of old subscribers and moving the remaining subscribers to the newsletter list?  Any tips you guys have will be most appreciated.

Why are products not populating to abandoned cart emails?

Hi, Abandoned cart emails are not populating with products or names.  The module used in the email should be the one provided from the Klaviyo template.  Can anyone please advise as to how to resolve this issue?  Photo shown below:

Multiple confirmation emails received

Hello,I’m on Shopify, and have disabled their double opt in. I am using my theme’s newsletter sign up form.When testing email newsletter signs ups, I am getting 2 - 3 emails from Klaviyo. Strangely, from names aren’t all the same. You can see bdelow - they were sent at the same time.How can I ensure customers only receive 1 email?Thank you

Tracking number from shipstation

I am working on a flow to let my customers know that their order has been shipped and want to send them their tracking number.  I use shipstation and have it integrated into Klaviyo, but don’t know how to pull that tracking number from shipstation and put it into the email.  Is this possible to do and if so how do I do it?

Webhook for Unbounce

Hello thereI set up a list in Klaviyo and added the webhook to Unbounce and changed the required field to (email) but not receiving the form submissions.I have a question about the list id.  When I add the webhook to unbounce do I change the last part of the URL to the list Id I want them directed to?  Or do I use the URL just like it was given to me when generated on Klaviyo integrations page/instructions?2nd part of question-It was working fine a few days ago and since then we changed the ‘reply to’ email address.  Could this be something that would interrupt the integration?Thank you!

Defining drop-off point for welcome flow

Hello!I would like to improve my welcome flow as currently it is extremely long and our averages are decreasing due to the later emails that aren’t performing as well. In thinking about strategy and how to improve the flow, I would love to figure out when I should introduce possibly more aggressive offers in the welcome flow. Meaning, let's say once a subscriber goes beyond X days without placing an order. they are unlikely to ever place an order.How can I calculate this with the information I have in Klaviyo?  Thank you!

Logo appearing twice in abandonment email

So I made a flow for abandonment emails (actually took default flow one and modified). Even though there is clearly only one logo block, the test email shows 2 logos as if 2 blocks. Anyone know what’s up?

Viewed API vs Add to cart API

I set up 2 flows, one for Add to cart API and other for Viewed product API. But it seems that they overlapse because it can happen someone view a product and add to cart, he will receive two emails.. how can I avoid that?

Flow Issues

I am getting so frustrated with a particular flow. We’ve implemented a membership program for a client with 3 tiers - Shore, Core and Peak. The customer Shopify Tag is then set to Shore, Core or Peak and the customer then receives an email automation. the whole process is as follows: New member requests get tagged “Shore Pending”. Once their total annual spend has been assessed they get tagged Shore, Core or Peak depending on what that value is. It works for EVERYTHING other than Shore. The setup is identical for each but the email automation for Shore is just not sending. What’s more furstrating is that it was working when we tested in November and now come January, when the client wants to launch, it just stopped working.

How To Show Split Payments From AfterPay, Klarna, and Others

Re: Outook 365 email formatting - no paragraphs

I am trying to work on my email templates, however in outlook 365 desktop, they show up with no paragraph breaks in them. They look fine out my mobile device. Does anyone have any tips?

Woo Commerce Abandoned Cart

Im trying to set up an abandoned cart flow from my woo commerce/wordpress site.  The emails are sending but when the customer clicks on the “Return To Cart” button it is coming up with a “Not Found” message. The button URL link is {{ organization.url|trim_slash }}/cart Thanks

Removing HTML text from Abandoned Cart product link

I’m not sure why the HTML is showing up in the hyperlink text for the product link in the ‘abandoned cart’ email… the text included in the email template is {{ item.product.title }}Attaching an image for how it appears when email is received.  If anyone can suggest why this is happening, and how to resolve please do let me know!

I cannot get the web tracking to work with shopify

I managed to integrate my shopify account with Klaviyo but even after pasting the snippet code into product.liquid in the shopify theme, the web tracking won’t successfully get set up - it just says ‘waiting for data’ at the bottom and won’t receive anything. What should I do?

Enrich profiles by click behavior

Hi! At the moment I do not have a lot of data from my customers, so what I wanted to do is the following: update customer profiles based on clicking behavior. If I send two types of emails, for example: product based and information based and a person clicks trough 6 out of 10 times on a product mail, I want to classify this person as “interested in products”.  Does anyone know how to do this? Looking forward to any possibility! Best,Krizia
