ACTION REQUIRED] Klaviyo Magento 2 extension update

Hi all,I recently received this email:Klaviyo will retire our legacy v1/v2 APIs on June 30th, 2024. All code using these legacy v1/v2 APIs needs to be updated, and the following accounts are currently using our legacy APIs.I was notified that my account will be affected by this.We did not update any code or API, rather our team migrated to newer version of Magento i.e. 2.4.7, after this migration, we received the following email.Klaviyo will retire our legacy v1/v2 APIs on June 30th, 2024, and your Magento 2 integration will be impacted unless you upgrade the extension. Extension versions using Klaviyo’s legacy APIs will no longer operate as expected after the retirement date.You need to upgrade your Magento 2 extension before June 30, 2024. Now, I want to confirm:a. Do I only need to upgrade to the latest extension of Klaviyo and the Legacy API issue will be resolved?b. Is this upgrade going to affect my current lists, segments, flows etc?

How can I link my theme's Registration page to Klaviyo OR even better use Kalviyo instead?

I have Klaviyo but I’m super new and only just getting to grips of the basics, although I have created a number of flows already.  I’ve set up a very basic Registration (Create Account) page on my Shopify site which does work when you apply and click Register, but it looks terrible and the email that the new member receives is also terrible, sent directly from Shopify.My first question is can I somehow link it to Klaviyo and then I just need to set up a flow for new members?Secondly, is there a way i can create a Klaviyo new member sign up form template (which is separate from my newsletter sign up popup) which can be embedded into a page in my theme.To add a little more complication I want to use BON Loyalty app and that needs to link it’s loyalty widget to the registration/Login page so it would need to work and integrate with that too.Any assitence around getting this configuration set up would be greatly appreciated!

Sender's email address alignment with branded sending domain

Hi,I have a question on how to properly align sender email address with branded sending domain.I took over several accounts and I started seeing this notification: So far configuration has been done as:Sender email address: info@mydomain.com Branded sending domain: send.mydomain.com I’ve checked old threads regarding this matter, and I understand that the configuration above should be sufficient/appropriate as the root domain is the same.Link to the thread: However, we’re still seeing the message above. My question is:Should our sender email address change from info@mydomain.com to send@mydomain.com? If statement above is correct, what should our next steps be in order to comply with the requirements? And what does the possible change in terms of technical configuration and domain warm up mean if we want to keep our sender email address as info@mydomain.com?Thank you!

Unsuppressing within a list

Hi Klaviyo Community,As per Klaviyo’s recommandation, i suppressed unengaged profiles who did not engage with our emails for 6+ months (we’re a furniture brand).Now my question is, was this the right thing to do? and has anybody “unsuppressed profiles” in a specific list. Ie, my main newsletter list. Does this send them back into our welcome series (which is triggered if they’re added to our main newsletter list)?Thank you!

Product Price - Metadata - WooCommerce

Hi!I noticed that for the ‘Viewed Product’ event, that the price isn’t populating like the other data points, it is coming through as metadata. My theory is that this is causing issues with our Browse Abandonment flow, as we have a price requirement on the flow and I don’t think Klaviyo is reading the product prices.Does anyone have guidance on how to troubleshoot andfix this?We switched over to a Wordpress/Woocommerce website a month ago, and we do have the Klaviyo/WooCommerce integration set up.

Fluctuating DMARC Success Rates Due to Non-Brand Domain Emails Sent via Klaviyo

I have been monitoring our DMARC success rates via Google Postmaster and noticed significant fluctuations recently. Upon reviewing the DMARC reports, I found that a number of emails sent through Klaviyo were not originating from our branded domain but rather from domains like ksd3.klaviyomail.com. This issue seems to be impacting our overall email deliverability and DMARC success rates.Has anyone else experienced similar issues with emails being sent from non-brand domains through Klaviyo?   What steps can be taken to ensure that all emails sent through Klaviyo use our branded domain to maintain consistent DMARC compliance? Is there a setting within Klaviyo that I might have missed that controls the sending domain for different types of email communications?Any guidance or insights from the community would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this issue to improve our email deliverability and compliance.Thank you in advance for your help!

Teaser signup form has a strange overlay/ background

Hi everyone,I set up a popup teaser but every time we hover over it on the website a greenish triangle appears on top of it. I have tried the circle teaser and a square surrounds it when I turn it live.It seems that I could get away with the rectangle but my client would like the corner teaser… Any advice? Solutions? Implementing Klaviyo using the GTM tag

Hello, Please help with the implementation of Klaviyo. We are unable to deploy klaviyo using the GTM tag. Everything was done correctly, the tag works and turns on, but when I try to verify the domain, unfortunately the message “The script was not installed correctly” pops up.I did everything according to the instruction manual from this page: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015392131 It does not say that you have to paste the code in the “head” section of the page code.  I would be very grateful for your help

Is there a way to see which SMS was sent and to which recipients? This refers to the standard notification that is sent while subscribing to the list with the double opt-in.

Google PageSpeed Insights - Impacted by Email pop up `overflow: visible`

Hey - I’m new to using Klaviyo and after installing an email pop up I noticed our Google PageSpeed Insights (https://pagespeed.web.dev/) took a big drop on Best Practices (from 100 down to 81) . The message from google is this:Specifying `overflow: visible` on img, video and canvas tags may cause them to produce visual content outside of the element bounds. See https://github.com/WICG/shared-element-transitions/blob/main/debugging_overflow_on_images.md. When I inspected my site, it is coming from the Klaviyo email pop up form.I tried designs with and without an image and both have this same issue. Has anyone else seen this and have a solution to fix it?

Long sunset - spreading out profiles over email sends

Setting up a sunset strategy for an ecommerce brand, that is heavily influenced by seasonality. Meaning that the biggest portion of customers are usually most interested at the start of the season (spring in this case) and might update their equipment then. People might also skip a couple of years and not buy anything but around every 5 years they ought to have returned (if not, they have quit the hobby). We need to be with them at the moment they do decide to make another purchase.We send out weekly newsletters currently with promotions. If I’d go by the usual 60/90 days to suppress profiles, we’d be missing out on them next season. Hence, I’m trying to come up with ways to counter this.Thinking about something along the lines of:First part of the strategy60d no engagement: change frequency from weekly to monthly trigger based: open/click newsletter? change back to weekly 60-180d no engagement: no more newsletters (but don’t suppress) Trigger based: viewed website? Change back to mon

Skipped profiles still show "received email"

Hi, I sent a campaign which 95%+ of recipients were skipped (smart sending). However, looking at the list of profiles that were skipped, each individual profile’s activity shows a “received email” event. My question is, does “received email” mean:they were on the list of recipients for that campaign (and MAY have been skipped)? OR they actually received the email? all 4190 Skipped Profiles’ Activity show this event for that specific campaign Please help,Thanks!

"Reply to this email to buy" flow possibility?

Hi all! Is there a way to set up a Klaviyo flow such that when the customer replies to your Klaviyo email, they will automatically get something? For example, if I send an email saying Reply to this email with “DISCOUNT” to get a special discount code, and then my customer replies with “DISCOUNT”, I want them to automatically receive another email with the special discount code. I know Klaviyo doesn’t track replies to emails, but is there any way around this? Is there maybe a way to include a pixel or something in Klaviyo emails to track whether there was a reply or not? Something I could do with Klaviyo API? Any creative responses would be greatly appreciated!! :)

How to stop coupon email from being delivered to spam?

Hello,I have 2 questions as below:(1) Per my test on my own gmail email address, I found my coupons being delivered to spam. So how do I stop my coupon emails from being delivered to spam?(2) Once the visitor on my website enters their email address, how do I set-up a message popping up as “Please check your SPAM folder if you don’t see our coupon delivered to inbox as sometimes our coupon emails do end up there”? Any best practices to notify the visitor about this without raisin any red flags related to spam considering the fact that some customers might think I am sending them spam emails which I am obviously not. I would appreciate your response, thanks!

Hi, I am wondering if there is an opportunity of showing products on backorders in product recommendation feed? I am using WooCommerce.As product quantity is set to 0, Klaviyo considers the product is out-of-stock. Klaviyo Review CSS bugs

Hey!I recently installed Klaviyo Reviews on my Shopify site and I’ve found the ‘All Reviews’ widget styling so buggy. It’s the modal which pops up when you click on an image. I’m a developer so I can add an overflow hidden on the below so that doesn’t happen, but also if there are more than one image the modal scrolls in a big list. I have had a look at the Klaviyo CSS and nothing from my theme is overriding anything. Does anyone have this widget on their site so I can compare the CSS and try to fix? Thanks

Client-side metrics not showing on users profiles

Client-side metrics are not showing on user profiles. However, if I check the metric report, it shows activity.Note: Metrics are not appearing on any client and at any time. It's not that they stopped appearing for new events. In fact, metrics that used to appear on a profile have stopped appearing. Now only server-side metrics are displayed. Can someone help me figure out what might be causing this?Thank you.(As example, this image corresponds to View Product Metric. On the users profile, there is not View Product metrics showing up.)

Hello,We regularly monitor unsubscribe counts and rates (weekly/monthly) for our campaigns and flows. We also compare them to previous periods.We're considering a new global account-level custom preferences and unsubscribe page. This would allow subscribers to:Choose Email Types: Select the types of emails they want to receive. Provide Interests: Share their interests for better segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content. Unsubscribe Completely: Opt-out of all marketing emails/lists. My Question: When a subscriber unsubscribes from this custom page, will the unsubscribe be associated with the specific campaign or flow email they used to access it? Context within Klaviyo: Currently, we use a link like…<a href="{% manage_preferences_link %}">Update your preferences</a>...to direct subscribers to Klaviyo's built-in preferences page. Lead to active customer

Hi there, We’re currently setting up our lead campaign and within the segment there is a rule that the customer property doesn’t equal ACTIVE (stripe status). Is this enough for someone to drop out of a lead flow and into our welcome subscriber flow should they subscribe during the flow? Or are there other rules within the flow that need to be set?We only want them to receive the on boarding flow.Thanks,Annabelle
