How did you get started with Klaviyo? I was put in charge to build a brand's eCommerce business and when I asked around what email service to use - Klaviyo was the top choice! What message do you have for people new to Klaviyo? Keep it simple. Don't look for hacks/secrets to grow your email revenue. Build relationships, add value to your subscribers, and be patient. How did you get started with Klaviyo? With a lot of enthusiasm, learning as much as I can and trying out everything. What message do you have for people new to Klaviyo? Klaviyo is an awesome tool with lots of possibilities. It's an easy to use platform. The biggest limitation is your own creativity. When starting out be sure to setup your account correctly, change UTM settings and personalize the list subscribe and unsubscribe settings. Make sure you have at least an abandoned cart, browse abandonment and new subscriber flow setup including adding a popup. What is your favorite part of Klaviyo? My favorite part about Klaviyo is the unlimited possibilities it gives you. It integrates easily with a lot of tools and if there is no integration setting up custom integrations is also very simple because Klaviyo provides a lot of development resources on how to do so. Why did you get started with Klaviyo? Several of my clients were using Klaviyo when I started consulting for them. What message do you have for people new to Klaviyo? Klaviyo does a great job of making the tool easy to use. Its also very customizable depending on what your business needs. Be patient as you learn a new tool and check out the help articles and join the community to ask questions! What is your favorite part of Klaviyo? My favorite part of Klaviyo has got to be the granular message reporting! Not every ESP includes as much detail as Klaviyo so its easy to dig into the performance of your message and see how it performed across many different levels. Hi Klaviyo Community,I’m Ashley from the Academy Team, and I’m excited to share two new feature updates! Both are big improvements to our existing functionality and will likely solve some pain-points that you may have previously faced.First off, any account can now enable single opt-in for a given list. Single opt-in allows customers to subscribe to a list without confirming their subscription via email or SMS. That said, double opt-in is still the default and highly recommended in order to maintain good deliverability. If you have a use-case that necessitates single opt-in, you can toggle on this setting by, first, navigating to the specific list. Then, click Settings and select single opt-in rather than double opt-in. For more information about the double opt-in process, why it is important, and how to enable single opt-in when necessary, head to our Guide to the Double Opt-In Process.
