Sending email as a trigger for a flow

I want to set up a new flow that has a series of conditional actions, which seems straightforward.But I want the TRIGGER to be sending an email to a segment. Then, depending on what actions the user initiates (or doesn’t initiate). the flow will guide.  I just haven’t noticed how to set the sending of an EDM as the trigger. And it doesn’t look like you can add a Flow to a Campaign.  I’m sure it is obvious, I just haven’t seen it.  thanks!

Coupon Code

Hi ! Does anyone have a solution how to create dynamic coupon code in Klaviyo with the settings that a customer has to buy something different, to get a specific product for free. Something like Buys X gets Y for free. Is this possible? Or do you know a workaround how to set this up? Would be super important. Thank you!

Hi,I have created a Flow " Customer Thank You - New vs Returning. I inserted a conditional split that says" Has ordered product where tags contains "on-demand" once over all time.It means that he purchased a product that is currently holding this tag or that he has purchased a product that had/has this tag "on-demand"?

Abandoned cart - scheduled email for someone who just placed an order

Hello,We created our first abandoned cart flow yesterday and today someone left the cart but then came back later and placed the order. However, we noticed the 1st email in the sequence still appeared as queued so we removed it manually.Does this mean there’s a problem with the flow or is it the case that the email would have been stopped by Klaviyo right before the scheduled delivery date/time?  Many thanks in advance!

Do we need to send less campaigns in the beginning especially when the account is still warming up?

Currently we’re sending 1 email every workday and gathering 40% + open rates and 0.9% CTR. Our goal is to send daily campaigns (30 campaigns/month). Is it ok to do that now? Because the account is still warming up rn.

When the discount code available is better than the Discount code in the Flow.

I have an abandoned checkout flow with a discount code incentive of 35% off to finish the order.I just sent out an email with a BOGO offer that you use a seperate discount code to get the 50% off.So it seems these people are going to get an abandoned checkout email with a 35% off code in it when the cart they abandoned had the capability of a 50% discount code depending on what discount code they used. It seems silly to send them an email with a lower discount amount that the order they abandoned.How would you retarget the emails to the people that started from the BOGO discount offer? Would you just change the language in the email to temporarily offer the 50% off instead of the 35% or is there a programmatic way of achieving this ?Many thanks,

Show a cross out price and RRP price

Hi everyone, As part of some flows i run for my clients they are asking for specific illustrations in the flows: For non-subscription customer (customers who do not buy on a regular basis). Is there a way to show the RRP of products then show the subscription price also? So they could potential see how much they are saving? Any help would be much appreciated, many thanks Tim

Is there a way to restrict flow content by calendar date?

Hi, In our post-purchase flow, one of the emails is promoting a seasonal product (wool overcoat). This is the 7th email in the flow, and the goal would be to have this email fire if the send date is say between 1st September - 31st March. If the customer was lined up to receive this email in July, for example, we’d like a filter to kick in and skip this particular email. Just to be clear, we want people to join this flow year-round, but this particular email in the sequence is seasonal. Thank you in advance for any thoughts/suggestions.Will

Trigger flow speed

I set up a ‘placed order’ flow so we could send out better looking order confirmations than the default ones using Magento 2. It;s fully working apart from the time it takes for someone to receive their order confirmation - about 90 minutes! This is not great as people generally want instant or 2 minute order confirmation emails. Is there any way to speed up the flow? There are no time delays, it took about half hour for the order to be received in Klaviyo and then another hour before it entered the flow.

Adding web link to images or text does not work

I’ve added url adresses to several images or text boxes, but by sending e test email, none of the links does work. How do I correctly add the links so that they will work when recepients click on the image/text box?

How to add property based on purchase

Hi,I have 40 different niches and each niches has specific customers. Now when somebody from (not in the list) outside purchases a product, they are not coming under any niche. For eg I have a Niche nurse and profession as Nurse (In Klaviyo properties) if a person purchase from that particular niche how can I automatically add their profession as Nurse. New and Need Clarifications:

We paid an expert to import Constant Contact and EZTexing into Klaviyo. Then he disappeared.We have added Okendo for product reviews and it integrated with Klaviyo. We are told Okendo doesn’t intigrate with Klaviyo on SMS/SMM and they use PostScript.Can we not use Klaviyo for MSM/SMM if we are using Okendo for product reviews?

TXT BUTTON

Hello Klaviyo Fam,I’d like to make this TEXT BUTTON TO LINK TO THE BUTTON. This is a replenishment flow the link goes to checkout page with the product they purchased previously. How I can get that link? I don’t want to show it as a text. The default button I can’t change the color.

Advise | Newsletter Subs. for coming soon page - and then?

Hi there,I am looking for your experience and advise in terms of newsletter in regards to a coming soon page.My page is currently setup as a coming soon page, no countdown yet since I dont know whether I go in 3, 4 or 5 weeks online.I have setup with Klavijo now a newsletter if the customer subscribe it (content is some preview incl. discount code).❔Should I send out a second mail as long as the page is not ready yet?The Klavijo flow suggest then a few days waiting time, followed by a social media mail which includes some shopping options. Last I cant add yet, since page is not live yet.❔Any advise what the content should in case you recommend to send out a second mail? I have already setup Instagram and Pinterest but no content yet. I plan to start here maybe 2 weeks before going live with the page. Thanks in advance.

Repeat Emails Weekly for Date of Birth

Hello,So I have a toy store where we sell toys for babies 0-3 years.As as input we have Date of birth of the babies.Would like to send weekly email about the babies to the parent. ExampleA: if today(4th March2022)baby1 is  born on 7Jan 22, then she is 8 week and 8th week email will gobaby2 is  born on 10 Dec 21, then she is 12 week and 12th week email will go B: After a week 11th March222baby1 is 9 week old and 9th week email will gobaby2 is 13 week and 132th week email will go And that on that date an automatic email is sent every week.How could I generate this? Thanks in advance

Abandoned Cart - Flow not accurate

Hi, I have been using the Abandoned Cart flow feature from Klaviyo and came accross a strange behaviour:Situation: A customer has been able to convert a cart from Checkout Started to Placed Order. Issue: Despite the customer has fully placed the order, it seems the customer has been “tagged” or flagged with a checkout started which placed my customer into the “Abandoned Cart” flow.  Questions:1/ What is the flow to be changed to be sure that if the customer has fully completed/placed the order then the customer shouldn't be flagged/seen into the “Abandoned Cart” flow.2/ When checking the “Customer Thank you” flow where it flags customer who has fully placed order, this customer is not in this flow (which is wrong as the customer has completed her cart and placed the order), Does something need to be change here too? (as i want the process to be accurate and flag/process the customers to the right flow). Many thanks and kind regards

Abandon Cart Flow Split by Variant/SKU

Hey, We’re a new store 1 product store running on Shopify. I’ve created the product with 3 different variants:1 Bottle 2 Bottle 3 BottleEach variant has their own SKU. What I want to achieve is, each variant abandon checkouts has their own flow but I don’t see a way in Klaviyo to do that.

UTM param on the flow

Hi,I would like to keep the continuity of UTMs. Is there a way that in my flow emails I will have Campaign utm name exactly the same as in the “How They Found You” on the guest profile?Let’s say that user came to my site through campaign name “Remarketing” and went into welcome flow - if he buys something I would like to see in my Google Analytics excatly “Remarketing” as the campaign, not the name of the flow.Please help.
