Flow Trigger/Conditional Split - If Someone is In a Segment

This seems like something that should be so obvious and already added, but why is there no Trigger or Conditional Split parameter to see if someone is in a particular segment. This can be done through API, but would really like to have this as a feature in the future.

How to allow subscribers to set their email preferences from my welcome email I send them?

I have a large list of people who have opted into emails and I would like to send them an initial welcome email that will allow them to set their email preferences (how often I email them), as well as their interests. I would like for it to all exist within the welcome email itself, I don’t want to direct the recipients to an external link or anything. Is there a way I can set up a flow that has checkboxes that subscribers can check their preferences and it’ll save the info somewhere to update their profile?

Question about Browse Abandonment email setup

Hi everyone, I followed the instructions in this article to set up our browse abandonment email flow. Everything works great except for the price of the product the customer viewed. I used {{ event.Price }} in the text block for the price. But in the preview and text email I sent, the price will show up as <span class=money>$XX</span>  sometimes, which is not ideal. See screenshots below.  Has anyone else encountered this issue before? How can I avoid the <span class> from showing up in the email?

Abandoned Cart flow: product appearing twice

Hello all, I’m creating a Cart Abandon Flow and whenever someone orders a product that has Route Package Protection, the product shows up twice (it doesn’t simply display the purchased product/price/quantity plus Route Package Protection; it displays the product/price/quantity twice). How can I fix my flow so that it shows just one product, or at least display Route Package Protection separately?Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have embedded a link in my email campaign that opens with no problems and is correct in Klaviyo but when I send a test email, the link goes to the webpage and then says invalid, not sure how to make the link open from the email? Thank you!

How to get past buyers into a post-purchase flow WITHOUT back-populating?

Hi there,I have just generated a great post-purchase flow that sends out emails for 6 months after a purchase. now, all new customers will enter this flow (triggered by a PLACED ORDER event) all right.But what if I wanted to get all of my previous buyers (who bought something a while ago, when the flow wasn’t around yet) into this new flow?Of course, back-populating can NOT be the answer, because it would not put the customers into the beginning of the flow, but somewhere in the middle (or the end), according to the exact time of their purchase (which might have been 3 or 6 or 9 months ago, for example). Note:A rather unsatisfying workaround that I came up with myself is this:Tag all the “past” buyers in Shopify I want to include Duplicate my post-purchase flow in klaviyo and make it “TAG-triggered” to suck up all the ancient buyers… not too bad, but I actually wanted to work with ONE single flow, not 2 separate ones…Can anyone help, please? >Thx.

Add To Cart ID not working

I can’t capture the add to cart event as my theme (Impulse) uses a {{ section id }} variable after the addtocart identifier. I tried with CSS class identifier but it’s also not picking it up.Any suggestions? I am afraid that deleting the {{ section id }} piece of the button might harm something in the back end of my theme.

Falling out of abandoned cart flow

Hi, I want to send a second set of emails in the abandoned cart flow and I wonder if I need to manually add a step that says ‘if purchase has not been made in the last x day, send second email’. Or would that be unnecessary? How would Klaviyo know that purchase was made on this abandoned cart?

Not exiting abandon cart flow when purchase was made

I have an abandon cart flow that is set up with 4 emails. I have a filter on there that says placed an order zero times. So why did my customer who ended up placing an order not exit this flow?

Very confused by win-back flow analytics not making sense.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to setup a win back flow for customers that haven’t ordered within 75 days (but have at least placed 1 order).I setup the flow and set a filter, it seems to have filtered out people that didn’t place one in 75 days (which is opposite) of what I wanted. No mater what I do, and back-populate, the status does not change.What am I missing? Photos are not appeaing in cart abandonment emails and the whole block is missing in mobile view

Hi I’m setting up an abandoned cart flow, and now I have this issue where the abandoned cart product images are not showing, but the link is working (like you can click the place where the image should be and it’ll go to the right product).I’ve tried the suggestions by another similar post, but it didn’t work. My configurations are these.And the configuration I used for the image is this one found from the other post:{% if item.product.variant.images.0.src %}{{item.product.variant.images.0.src}}{%else%}{{item.product.images.0.src|missing_product_image}}{%endif%} Another problem is that when I switch to mobile view, nothing is there. I really need help with this. Does anyone know how to deal with this?Also, thanks for reading the post.

Test email links not working

I am new to Klaviyo and I am just creating my warm up email (that has taken 4 hours already- the system is incredibly slow) I have sent myself a test email to check the links and none of them are working.I get his page:on all the links. I have just set up an identical email in mailerlite and all links work. all the pages are connected to my shopify store and they work  but not in the Klaviyo email?Please help I really need to get going on this new CRM before Christmas gets going and it seem Klaviyo is making every step painful.

Upsell Campaign for Baby Products

Hi Klaviyo team, I will need some advice on setting up the metrics for an upsell campaign for one of our mom & baby brand. The baby items that we are selling are categorized into various age groups. We plan to upsell our products according to diff baby age groups by creating an automated email flow. Below is the metrics I tried to create while setting up the flow. One thing I am not quite sure about it setting ‘Ordered Product’ as trigger, as I understand that one Ordered Product event is tracked for each item purchased. I wouldn’t want to send out too many emails to the same ppl who purchases three items in a single purchase event (as there will be one Placed Order event and three corresponding Ordered Product events recorded). Reason why I used ‘Ordered Product’ as the trigger is because it allows me to set up filters such as product ids, variant size etc.

Cart abandonment VS Checkout abandonment - FILTERS

Hello.I am trying to create 2 flows: cart abandonment (for those who added to cart, without reaching the checkout) checkout abandonment (for those that reached checkout and abandoned it before purchase)While I read several topics on the setup,  I am still slightly confused with the filter logic.I am using the following filter setup for both of the flows: the cart abandonment flow and the checkout abandonment flow. In both cases, I would like to achieve that the users recieve all abandoned products within 1 email and not 1 email sent for each product separately.Is the bellow filter setup correct for both flows? I am asking because I read that a for the cart abandonment flow, it is enough to include only 2 filters: placed order zero times since starting this flow and started checkout zero times since starting this flow.I appreciate your help with this.

Are win-back emails considered a marketing email?

Here’s my question: My client wants to send win-back emails, but she doesn’t want to send it to customers that didn’t ask for marketing emails. In my experience, win-back emails aren’t the same as a marketing email and thus can be treated different. Meaning that the customer doesn’t need to give approval in order to send these emails. Can someone from Klaviyo please confirm this. I want to make sure that the client can see that this is from a trusted resource. Thanks!

Why Are Transactional Email Deliveries Delayed by Hours?

I have a transactional “Activate Your Account” email in a flow without a time delay, yet the email is in the waiting stage and will be there for a few hours.I’m confident I don’t have any other rules in place to delay the send. I just sent a few copies of this email type without delay, yet a latest tranch of emails is delayed. Why does this happen?

Integrating BIS on Shopify with non-free theme

Hi all, Klaviyo’s standard Back In Stock functionality works great, on a free Shopify theme. But fails to function properly on a non-free theme where some variants are in stock and others aren’t.Do any of you know where one might look to manually trigger the BIS check when switching variants in a theme? Any ideas where one might find docs on this please?Thank you

Abandon Cart Flow misfiring Woo Commerce and YITH Request for Quote

I have my out of the box Abandoned cart flow set up in my new WooCommerce store and its working but there is slight glitch due to my setup. I am using YITH request a quote which allows a customer to add items to the quote and submit for pricing. Once they submit the quote, Klaviyo appears to be interpreting this as those items were left in the cart and triggers the abandoned cart flow. Is there a way around this?  EDIT: There are two ways a user can create a quote. One is to build a quote cart and the other is to convert the shopping cart to quote in the checkout screen. The later is when the abandoned cart flow is triggered. This makes sense functionally, but it would like for the flow to not activate when the cart is converted to quote.

Blurry Static Product Images in Outlook

I’m having an issue with our Static product images in Outlook. When I view the test newsletter in Outlook all of the product images look blurry but in Gmail they are perfect. Any ideas why this would be happening?Outlook blurry images

Back In Stock Delay

I have everything setup for a Back In Stock flow. There is one setting preventing me from launching. It is the Back In Stock Dealy. Which waits for product to come back in stock before sending email. I do not see any settings for that, just a delay of days. It should look like this sample.
